literally the worst experience of my life- I purchased a car from them a few years ago and loved it, and the experience. unfortunately we were in an accident and the vehicle was totaled. We purchased a 2018 car from them a few years ago and loved it, and the experience. unfortunately we were in an accident and the vehicle was totaled. We purchased a 2018 GMC terrain, that past the "Inspection" and after having it for 3 days we brought it into a dealership to use the silver star warranty. The vehicle needed an oil change, shocks, struts, 2 wheel bearings, breaks and rotors, and 1 of the "new" tires had a plug in it. Needless to say we used our 7 day return, and after 5 WEEKS we got our replacement car. This car is wonderful and as expected but we had to jump through so many hoops to get it and even had to go pick it up. 111 miles one way. Now I am being told I need to make an $8,000 down payment- when I signed the contract it was a $300 down payment. I've called and chatted with them, and they promise to figure it out, have not heard anything from them. I refuse to call again and if they want the xxxx car back they can come take it. I will NEVER use carvana again. this has been one of the worst on going experiences of my life. and it seems like they cant get their head out of their xxxxx to fix it. More
The purchase process with Carvana was very convenient. They have a great selection of used vehicles on an easy to navigate website and it’s quick to find a vehicle that fits what you’re looking for. Although the buying process was incredibly easy, this is my 3rd Carvana Car btw, the car itself had issues. New tires were installed, however, they were not balanced which means shaking at highway speeds. my 3rd Carvana Car btw, the car itself had issues. New tires were installed, however, they were not balanced which means shaking at highway speeds. Not minimal shaking, almost undriveable. I did get this fixed at a local car dealer, but it should have not come to that. The outside of the car is not exactly the condition as described, minor scratches are actual dents and previous paint patches. Overall I am satisfied with the car, price and performance but the details were overlooked or misrepresented. The lady delivering was extremely nice and cordial, She represented Carvana extremely well. I will keep the car because of the overall attributes of the vehicle, but I will look at a traditional dealership next time so I can see the issues with the vehicle and do a true test drive. Although they say you can return it within 7 days, that seems more of a hassle. I am rating this a 4 due to the lady who delivered, the delivery process and the vehicle itself, but if it had not been for her, and all I would have probably given a 2. More
Purchase process was incredibly easy to navigate and I love my car. My one and only complaint was that even though I feel the car was checked out, a day after I picked it up I had to replace the battery. love my car. My one and only complaint was that even though I feel the car was checked out, a day after I picked it up I had to replace the battery. Now I know there is a process I could have went through but, by the time you need a battery you need it. I find it a bit hard to believe that in a 2019 car the factory installed battery still tested good before I picked it up. Considering my vehicle had spent all its time in extreme weather environments, IE. The Northeast was its original home, then to the Northwest, and finally to the Southwest, all three climates known for killing batteries. Either way I would recommend the whole process overall! More

I was not notified or called before hand and had to take additional time off to pick up the vehicle. On my second attempt to pick up the vehicle, the vehicle was less than a quarter tank of fuel, which the dealer fortunately filled up. However, the vehicle was dirty, had not been detailed, smelled as though someone had smoked in it. Upon closer inspection I saw that the tires were dry rotted and unsafe. I took to a tire shop and they noted the tires were over 8 years old, cracked and unsafe for use. I ended up having to replaced all four tires. Carvana totes a 150 point inspection. How was this missed? Why was the vehicle not cleaned? Why were the tires dangerously cracked? After purchasing and selling many vehicles to Carvana, I will no longer be using them after this experience. Carvana has done nothing to make up for it. More
I will never buy another car from Carvana again, and neither should you. The first time around I bought a Honda Civic back on 08/01/2020. This was a perfectly fine experience, but Carvana today is n neither should you. The first time around I bought a Honda Civic back on 08/01/2020. This was a perfectly fine experience, but Carvana today is not the same Carvana it was. 1st Odyssey: This company tried to sell me a Honda Odyssey that wasn't even inspected. To start off the day before it was supposed to be shipped, they found out it had a dead battery. So, they inconveniently pushed the delivery date back two weeks. On the highway it had a shudder. I took it to the shop, and they told me there was something wrong with the transmission, specifically the torque converter. A few other flaws with this vehicle were bald front tires, worn in uneven directions (causing more shaking), and there was actual trash in 3 of the 4 doors. So, I returned this vehicle within the 7-day window (-$199 from shipping). 2nd Odyssey: The second vehicle I ended up keeping but the imperfections listed on the vehicle listing weren't accurate. There was significantly more damage on in interior, reporting this didn't make a difference they just said: "Minor cosmetic imperfections are normal for used vehicles." This Odyssey also had (bad rotors, tire valve stem, and cabin air filter) these were taken care of by SilverRock. But it goes to show you again this vehicle probably wasn't inspected either. This one didn't have trash in each of the doors but they're dirty. There are a bunch of sticky adhesives on the windshield from Carvana stickers. Also, another -$199 from shipping. The transfer of down payment and trade in, between the first car and second was more of a hassle than it needed to be. The person handling it didn't understand I couldn't adjust my payment plan without the trade-in. Since the trade in was already applied to the first car I didn't have it to apply to the second Odyssey. Meanwhile they were just holding onto our down payment while this whole process took so many more weeks than it needed to. Way too much time wasted going to the Carvana approved car repair facilities, signing contracts over and over. Waiting for cars to be shipped and shipping delays. Money wasted on shipping twice, due to their negligence on the first car. I will never buy a car from Carvana again. More
