I even purchased the extended warranty, but constantly have to fight with Carvana and Silverrock to get any service covered. The car buying part is a breeze, I loved that. They should just do better with selecting good cars and actually assisting with covering parts and repairs when they sell you a problematic car. There are a few great customer service reps at both companies, but you're mostly going to get the runaround and excuses. And what you can squeeze out of them, will come only after a lot of stress and headache. Hopefully, you will luck up and get a good car because if you don't, it's going to cost you a lot of time, energy, and money. More
I just bought my 3rd car from Carvana - BMW x6. The first experience years ago was amazing. The second transaction was fine, but nothing special. This last one was a disaster. Car has an oil leak, dings were not documented, a key was missing, car wasn't detailed like I was expecting. 150 point inspection my xxx. The car got stuck in the vending machine, which took a while to sort out remotely. Previously, I had been a big advocate of Carvana. I am no longer. Used to be a wonderful experience, now its more of a gimmick. They have basically become Carmax v2.0. I will not be buying anything else here, nor will I recommend it to others like I have in the past. More
I agree with Carvana about their customer service. Don't take their word for it. They are still just as bad as they have always been. I was attempting to sell my 2022 Santa Cruz truck to Carvana b Don't take their word for it. They are still just as bad as they have always been. I was attempting to sell my 2022 Santa Cruz truck to Carvana but was not looking to purchase or trade for another vehicle with Carvana. So as part of the selling process, I was asked to verify the loan payoff amount. After reaching out to a Carvana representative and connecting with Navy Federal the Carvana Rep attempted to violate my privacy while on the call. Both Carvana and Navy Federal suggested that the calls were being recorded. I asked the Navy Fed Rep to provide a 14-day payoff for my loan account, they did and included the daily per diem rate which Carvana could use to tabulate a 10-day payoff if so desired. Then the Carvana Rep began to ask a number of other questions that in my opinion violated my privacy and had not been previously discussed with me and even before I could respond the Navy Federal Rep suggested that she could look for that information. However, she stated she could not do so without my permission. While I had nothing to hide regarding my loan, I was taken back by the questions and declined to offer any additional information besides the 10/14 day payoff as Carvana had initially requested and suggested that I have adequately provided the 10/14 day payoff as requested. It was a matter of principle for me at that point because these questions had never been brought to my attention prior to the call and were not a part of Carvana's request for information. online, via email, or on any of the three phone calls. If Carvana wants to know a customer's payment history, late fees, and other related information they need to be at least upfront with their customers on what is needed. I have never had a late car payment and if I had been late at any point, does that mean Carvana is not going to buy the car? Made no sense to me why this information would be relevant or why these questions could not be revealed to the customer before the call. So once again after (4) tries with Carvana, I still have not figured out a way to get these inconsistent Carvana customer service eps out of the way to stop cheating me and their organization out of a good car buying or sales deal. This was my first time using Carvana and I am thoroughly pleased. I traded in a car and got new car and the process was seamless. Samuel arrived on time and was a pleasure to speak to. I was a little hesitant about using Carvana at first. Just because no looking at the trucks in person made me feel like it was not true. I have to say I love the experience and the updates I would get. O Just because no looking at the trucks in person made me feel like it was not true. From the moment I saw the car I loved it, I knew going into it the car had a few flaws (cosmetic) but that wasn’t a issue at all. My first drive was about 114 miles and it was fantastic. I’ve been driving into it the car had a few flaws (cosmetic) but that wasn’t a issue at all. My first drive was about 114 miles and it was fantastic. I’ve been driving the car everyday. On day 6 of ownership I’m now unable to drive the car due to a engine misfire, the car will be going to the bmw dealership on Tuesday. I understand these cars have there issues but it’s rather upsetting to have to send the car to get warranty work done already. Luckily carvana offers a 100 day limited warranty through a third party company so I hope all goes well. This is my dream car so it’s worth the wait to have it fixed correctly. The only thing I’m not a fan of is for the warranty in my area the preferred places were basic mechanic shops (tires shops, oil changes, and alignments). This means I’ll have to pay some money out of pocket to have the car at the correct shop to get worked on and addressed correctly. More
Ridiculous. .. after striking deal with caravan, they'll take higher price from another customer and frustrate you with delays until you get out of the deal.
