Warranty is a joke and no one is checking these cars out. It shouldn't shake when you get it. They need to test drive them. xxxx, maybe look at it and go. Then i am going to take time off an be without a car to fix simple stuff and damage not reported on the carvana site. Then i have to wait to get reimbursed for my rental car. Maybe reimbursed...Carvana is convient and easy to use. Just need to be more truthful about the cars they are selling. Cars cost more in general nowadays. Please do better for future customers. More
Overall my experience with Carvana was good. I leave 4-stars because before I found the truck I bought I had an issue with a purchase. I went to "Pre Order" it and as that process was ongoing I I leave 4-stars because before I found the truck I bought I had an issue with a purchase. I went to "Pre Order" it and as that process was ongoing I had the truck reserved and it would not let me finish the purchase. The 30mins ran out and then it showed someone else was purchasing it. I called Carvana and the answer I was given was that the truck failed inspection. This maybe true that it did them was put back up for sale and sold to someone else. This was frustrating. However the customer service person I called helped me find the truck I bought. The rest of the process was very smooth. My delivery went excellent! The lady who delivered the truck was very nice, was extremely open and honest about the truck. Even pointing things out to me so I was aware of them. When I test drove the truck I had a few issue but none of them total deal breakers. My issues wjere reported and the next day the warranty company called me to schedule getting them fixed. I would buy from Carvana again. More
I found the perfect car from me and chose to travel to Tempe, AZ from NM to pick up my car. Two hours prior to pick up on a Saturday they advise the check engine light is on and the shop the co tract with Tempe, AZ from NM to pick up my car. Two hours prior to pick up on a Saturday they advise the check engine light is on and the shop the co tract with isn’t open on weekends (which is unbelievable not open on Saturday). After incurring the personal cost of flying her, staying in a hotel and now flying home and finding other transportation until I find a new option - NO CARE IN THE WORLD AND ABSOLUTELY ZERO FLEXIBILITY FROM CARVANA. There have to be multiple repair shops in the greater Phoenix area open on Saturdays - nope, we only use one shop that is only open M-F. ZERO care or concern for how this negatively impacts me with timing and financially, not to mention logistics. AVOID THIS RIGID RIDICULOUS COMLANY AT ALL COST More
I think that if you are looking for a niche vehicle, then Carvana is certainly a very good option. In my case, I wanted an out of production MINI Roadster and they were very difficult to find in my home state. Carvana had several to choose from and although the price did not appear to be all that great, once I factored in the convenience of the transaction, the ease/value of the trade-in, and the fact that there were no hidden fees (watch out for a dealership's "transaction" or "closing" fees that can be as much as $1,000 over the purchase price), the deal was actually pretty fair. I literally started the purchase over my phone and the follow-up paperwork was a breeze. Had a small hiccup on the delivery date that caused a few phone calls but the reps were super helpful and nice. The delivery was exactly on time and a breeze - again, a super nice Carvana rep. The car had a few minor cosmetic issues caused by the transport and Carvana/SilverRock were very fast in getting them fixed at no cost. The car was otherwise immaculate and everything checked out. Mechanically, it was in excellent shape. I would use them again for another hard to find car. More
I, like most people these days, hate buying cars. I don't enjoy car salesman or dealing with the fact that the end price seems to always be more than we discussed. So we were in a situation where I n I don't enjoy car salesman or dealing with the fact that the end price seems to always be more than we discussed. So we were in a situation where I needed to get a car for my son who is an active duty Marine in SC. I live in Texas so we thought we would try carvana. We use a military credit union since I am prior service as well and that had some loop holes we needed to jump through too, or actually I should say loop holes Carvana had to jump through. Anyways long story short the woman in customer service who helped me was amazing. She figured out what needed to be done with Navy Federal when even the underwriter wasn't sure. Then the car was delivered last week and the gentleman who dropped it off was very friendly. All in all it was a great experience and I would use them again in the future. More
I have to say I am overall very satisfied with the whole experience of using Carvana. I did have/experience a couple of small hiccups, but considering those as compared to having to go to a dealer and all t experience of using Carvana. I did have/experience a couple of small hiccups, but considering those as compared to having to go to a dealer and all that would entail I still feel as though purchasing and trading in through Carvana was the right decision. I believe they have good cars to sell, offer decent trade values for your car, and while I did not use their financing in the end, it seemed good. Again, overall, I am satisfied, they are fair, and for the hiccups I experienced they put me in touch with people in my "local hub" which were able to fix things and make a real difference. More
A good experience overall. After attempting to buy a car at 6 different local dealerships over a period of 2 months, I was done with the stupidity. I bought the car and traded After attempting to buy a car at 6 different local dealerships over a period of 2 months, I was done with the stupidity. I bought the car and traded in my old car entirely online, which was amazing. I did need some additional information that wasn't listed in the description so I called and spoke with someone who said he'd submit a ticket and get back to me, which never happened. Luckily I found what I was looking for via 3 other online sources. Carvana wanted immediate proof of insurance so I bought a policy for the new car and cancelled the policy on the old car based on the delivery date they gave me. About 8 hours before delivery was supposed to happen they pushed it back by 2 days, which is completely unacceptable due to insurance requirements. That is something they need to fix immediately. I made a list of questions based on reviews and complaints I read online but the delivery driver explained all of them before I even asked. She was awesome. The license plate and registration were handled perfectly by Carvana and the delays were all related to my state DMV, but I did get the plate and registration before the temporary ones expired. This was verified by looking up the VIN on the DMV website. All in all it was a good experience and I absolutely love the car and would definitely use Carvana again. More
