Went to get a bigger AWD suv for my pregnant wife and our 2 year old. Himmy Pathak had us there for hours and we shook on a deal for a car we were told was on recall and we couldnt take home for a month. Aft 2 year old. We went back and worked with a new salesmen and the managers helped smooth things over with us. Ended up getting a *certified used* vehicle we could drive home that day. During that drive when it was quiet outside and not the rush hour traffic we test drove in we heard a weird intermittent sound. Reported it immediately the next morning. They squeezed us in to fix it, the original video the tech sent he said he wasnt comfortable turning the "severely warped" rotors allegedly causing the sound. And that he reccomended replacement of the rotors and break pads. They then tried machining the rotors and salvaging them instead and said it wouldn't work, so they replaced them but not the pads. We pick it up and its still making the sound. I am unsure if the vehicle ever went through the "173 point Hyundai Certified Used Inspection" if we got it making a near constant bizarre noise and with severely warped rotors. Im also suspicious as to why the technician originally said he wanted to replace the brakes and rotors but then it changed to attempting to machine them, then replacing them but no talk of brake pads. We are not off to a good start with Boucher Hyundai. *UPDATE* Took it back for a road test with a Service Advisor, he noticed the noise within a minute. It spent 5 hours at the shop after that before I had to call and see what was up. Its now been diagnosed as a bent axel. Somehow this wasn't caught during their 173pt certification inspection, the first time I had it in the shop when the "severely warped" rotors were diagnosed and they said the noise was "fixed" and it was good to go. So they sold me a certified used car with severely warped rotors and a bent axle. More lost time, wages, stress, childcare and gas will need to be spent now to attempt to fix it yet again. I have also asked several people multiple times throughout this process for copies of certain documents and have not received it. More

Also, the oil change and rotation were not done by the 3rd day. We had to wait for this to be done at the dealership on DAY 3. What a waste of time! No car for 3 days. No communication and the 'problem' was not okayed to be fixed. Price is way to high. I will bet we can get this fixed for way less money! Right More
