At age 64, I do not have that many new cars to choose from in my lifetime. I previously owned a BMW and was aware of the quality of this brand. Upon entering Bert Smith BMW we were pleasantly greeted by salesperson Tony Cheung. His pleasant demeanor and professional attitude was what I was expecting, ok, hoped for in conquering the process of purchasing/leasing a new car. It was as though Tony could read my mind in what I wanted in terms of model, features and cost. Within an hour we test drove the new 320I and were locating models available in the color and with the interior features we wanted. In 2 days our new car, sparkling clean was delivered. Tony Cheung spent a great deal of time explaining the features and technology involved in the operation, it was like he was a special education teacher for us technologically challenged adults. He add our 2 bluetooth cell phones and offered his assistance at any time should I have any operational questions. The financal transaction of signing the lease and payment options was a snap! There was never any pressure or double teaming that I have experienced at other dealerships. I also want you to know that I am not a relation of Tony Cheung. I worked with Gene in the sales department and he did a great job, informing me about the vehicle specifications and making sure i was happy with the selection i made. I drove from Orlando to Tampa to purc great job, informing me about the vehicle specifications and making sure i was happy with the selection i made. I drove from Orlando to Tampa to purchase the vehicle. I initially made the trip hoping to buy on the spot and drive the new car home, but the car just posted to the web and they found a couple light scratches and dings during the certification process. They insisted on fixing the minor scratches and dings before letting me have the car. I could not be happier they took the time to fix these minor blemishes, and were not pushy to try and get it off the lot. I worked with Anthony in the finance department and he was great and informative and made sure i received every special and incentive that was applicable and available to me. I came back the following week and car was out of the paint shop from fixing the minor blamishs and it looked like it just rolled out of the factory. The only slight down side to this whole process was the wait when i went back to pick up the car that day, they were really busy that day and their detail guy was out sick i believe, so the back up detail guy did the final detail, Gene and the sales manager said the wax job was not good enough, so he had to re do it. Now it was a pain waiting for it to be detailed twice, but looking back well worth it since it came out flawless at the end of the day. I appreciate the sincere professional staffing at bert smith, and when my wife or i are in the market again for another ultimate driving machine we will be making the commute to work with the professionals at bert smith bmw. We visited the Bert Smith Dealership several times to inquire about the new 3 Series Gran Turismo, Tony stayed in touch until one arrived so we could take a look and test drive the vehicle. He was able to answer all our questions, handle any concerns, help us build the car (we considered placing an order) talked with us about the features & benefits so that we could make an informed decision. BMW not only has a great product but we feel that they are fortunate to have Tony on their team, we will recommend him highly! Tony Cheung is an outstanding representative for BMW. He is professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He listened closely to what I wanted and where I had concerns. He came up with several options that could meet my objectives and a few that ended up exceeded my expectations. I purchased a X5 and it is the first diesel engine I have ever bought. I really had concerns about buying a diesel but I wanted the power and pick up that it offered. Tony spent a lot of time explaining the benefits, letting me test drive to feel the power differences and generally helping me to understand the pros and cons. He sold me the diesel through his persistently yet patient reasoning. Tony Cheung is clearly passionate about the brands the dealership carries and for driving BMW's in general. I think that his personal interest and connection with these cars, makes him more empathetic towards other BMW drivers and able to articulate what makes the vehicles extra "special." Tony Cheung was easy to work with on negotiations and I felt I ended up with a great deal. So great in fact, that we ended up buying 2 BMW's from Tony in the same weekend! I would highly endorse him to anyone looking for a BMW. More
