We came to Bert Smith because of our friendship with Dan Brandano in Pre-Ownwed Sales and the friendliness of the staff when my wife and I stopped by to look at cars and "tire kick". Upon arrival at the dealership we were immediately given the keys to test drive the 320i that we were interested in. When we returned from our test drive David Craig offered us a drink and answered all of our questions. Then when it came to talking numbers we made it clear what our desired payments needed to be and David was able to make it happen for us. There was no uncomfortable "haggling" or games like we had experienced at other dealerships in the past. While David was making it happen, William checked on us regularly to make sure we were being well taken care of. A lot of businesses claim to treat you like family but these guys actually do. Once we agreed to lease our new BMW we proceeded to the finance department where we worked with Anthony Capasso. Again, it was a much more pleasant experience than we had ever had in the past at other dealerships. Anthony was very professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I was greeting by David after I looked briefly at the VW's. He asked me what I was looking for and what my objectives were. We sat down and went over several things, then he took me out to look at some x VW's. He asked me what I was looking for and what my objectives were. We sat down and went over several things, then he took me out to look at some x3's and x5's. I then looked at the x1 and decided that was what i wanted. We "built" a car with everything i wanted and discussed the pros and cons of various packages. He then went "hunting" for one, which he found later that day. I came in the next day and we worked on the trade in's and price. That was on a Saturday. On Tuesday I came back in for a little more "instruction" on the tech stuff. He was very helpful and wanted to make everything right for my first experience of buying a car on my own. More
