DAMAGED MY CAR PAINT This dealership chipped my new black 2014 BMW535i paint on the hood at three places and put a ding in my windshield. The detailing department also put huge swirl marks in the paint all over the car. Mr. Eric the service advisor and Mr. Stephen Williams the salesman were witness to this and since that day Mr. Butch the detailing manager was not available, I brought the car back the next day for him to see it and he then referred us to talk to Mr. Ron the general manager who then had us talk to Mr. Larry the CFO who then accused us of putting the ding in the windshield!!!! and refused to pay for getting it repaired!!!! There was no apology, no desire to maintain any dignity or decorum of what there detailing department stands for!!! I do not know what else can be done except I hope that this review warns other customers from using their service dept. which is where they make the bulk of their income. Unless their pocket book is not affected they will not change or improve their services because they have no moral code of conduct except making money. More

Tony C did a great job of presenting the car and making the evaluation fun. His enthusiasm and follow-up encouraged me to select this dealer over closer ones. Called to make an appointment for service and was put into voice mail. Then went to the dealership and waited over 20 minutes for a service writer, none showed up, this even after one of their employees into voice mail. There were three service writers visible in their glass offices over looking the service drive in area. It seems as though Burt Smith BMW does not care about customer service. I had tried this dealership, for service, several years ago and had a similar experience, but had thought they had improved. It appears that they have not. I could not recommend Bert Smith BMW for service, even though I have 2 BMWs. I went somewhere else for my service and received great customer service. Over all rating VERY BAD. More
Bert Smith BMW has set my new standard for an exemplary car buying experience. My schedule is just terrible, and I found myself hurriedly trying to make the dealership before their Sat closing time of 6. car buying experience. I am 69 years old and have been buying cars since I was 18 years old. I have never run across a sales representative as knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly in my lifetime. What more could I ask for. They had the perfect car I wanted within the price range. Actually it had more options than I wanted for no addition cost. My friends and co-workers are drooling over my car which is a BMW 128 convertible.I've told all my friends to go to Bert Smith if they want a selection at a more than fair price. I've been 3 times to that dealership. First time was just introduction to the inventory. I did not consider to buy anything. Second time was pretty bad because one dealer did not treat me properly and w just introduction to the inventory. I did not consider to buy anything. Thing changed when I came third time (I came back ONLY because this was the closest dealership with the car I wanted, otherwise I would consider to go elsewhere). At age 64, I do not have that many new cars to choose from in my lifetime. I previously owned a BMW and was aware of the quality of this brand. Upon entering Bert Smith BMW we were pleasantly greeted b from in my lifetime. I previously owned a BMW and was aware of the quality of this brand. Upon entering Bert Smith BMW we were pleasantly greeted by salesperson Tony Cheung. His pleasant demeanor and professional attitude was what I was expecting, ok, hoped for in conquering the process of purchasing/leasing a new car. It was as though Tony could read my mind in what I wanted in terms of model, features and cost. Within an hour we test drove the new 320I and were locating models available in the color and with the interior features we wanted. In 2 days our new car, sparkling clean was delivered. Tony Cheung spent a great deal of time explaining the features and technology involved in the operation, it was like he was a special education teacher for us technologically challenged adults. He add our 2 bluetooth cell phones and offered his assistance at any time should I have any operational questions. The financal transaction of signing the lease and payment options was a snap! There was never any pressure or double teaming that I have experienced at other dealerships. I also want you to know that I am not a relation of Tony Cheung. Try him and I am sure you will be recommending him too. More
