William Stephens my sales advisor was incredibly helpful and straightforward - very friendly and easy to reach over the several months I was looking. He always got right back to me with answers to my questions and kept me updated as my car was being shipped from Europe all the way to being delivered to the dealership. William and the entire team at Bert Smith BMW was professional, courteous and helpful without any pressure or negative car buying cliche's, I also got a deal that I am very happy with. Great experience, and a great car! I look forward to continuing to do business with this dealer in the future. More

I only met the service manager once, but he was rude and very unprofessional! I took my car for service to the BMW dealer in Sarasota, they laughed when I told them of my dealings with the service manager at Bert Smith, and they told me that their business has increased tremendously because of him! I reported my experience to BMW, but received no reply, which led me to sell my BMW, and go Japanese! Shame BMW, another lost buyer! More
Defective "CERTIFIED" 2012 BMW - POOR SERVICE Bert Smith BMW delivered a "Certified" BMW to us on Tuesday. On Wednesday the convertible top did not work The air conditioning did not work. The d Bert Smith BMW delivered a "Certified" BMW to us on Tuesday. On Wednesday the convertible top did not work The air conditioning did not work. The dashboard light did not work. The trunk light did not work. ALL AFTER ONE DAY. Had to leave car at Bert Smith for service AFTER ONE DAY. Left five messages on Matt the service writer's voice mall to check on the status of the car. NO CALL BACK. Had to call BMW of North America and have them call Bert Smith to get the status. STATUS: HAVEN'T HAD TIME TO GET TO OUR CAR YET After delivering a defective "Certified" used car, after only one day, you would think that they would want to expedite the repairs. Obviously the sale is more important than fixing the so called "CEETIFIED"car. I would recommend REEVES BMW in Tampa. That is where we bought our previous BMW. More

My point is that I end up getting my car from Bert Smith. I have tried internet sales, dealer visits or phone calls. The result is the same. Whatever way I want to make a deal. I end up driving out of Bert Smith BMW with a new car. My wife and I have purchased three cars. My son and daughter have purchased one each. Our last two purchases were completed with William Stephens, senior sales associate and all around nice guy. I'm not from St Petersburg, Florida but a good distance South and wasted time would be a deal breaker. Every car dealership will prepare the car for delivery and explain the ins and outs of the vehicle. But will the deal sit well with you. Do your homework then call, email or visit Bert Smith. You will not be disappointed. More
