Prices are outrageous. Took car in for simple brake fluid flush and burned out tail lamp. That was nearly $400 because they "had to" add a filter and do an oil change. They rooted around doing a 'free' inspection and managed to find about $3600 worth of work to recommend. Prices are about twice (at least) what a non-dealer shop charges. Cost me nearly $1000 to get what I went in for. Than, I ordered a key fob to replace one I had lost. The fob and programming together comes to $500. Outrageous. Done with BMW. More

Best BMW service anywhere! My X5 is the 4th BMW I've driven. The first was a 528i in 1980 that stayed in the family for 15 years. I have experienced service at other dealerships but Bert Smith is the best, hands down! This dealership is not so busy that you feel rushed to drop off, pick up and just get out of the way. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else! More

They said they would install it for free but that I had to purchase the replacement part for about $69.00. If they broke it, why do they expect me to pay for the replacement? I walked out very unhappy with a broken glove compartment lock... I'm new in town and I will never use Bert Smith again. More

Maintenance is a very different story, I had nail on a run flat tire on my X3, I tried to call the service department but I could never reach anyone. Decided to drive there after work, I was informed that my tire needed to be ordered and the install would not take more than 45 minutes. Since I could not be there at the timed agreed upon and no loaner vehicles where available, I asked my wife to take the vehicle for the replacement. She was at the dealership for almost 3 hours! No one talked to her, updated her or even attempted to apologize for the delay. when I got home from work I took a look at the vehicle and noticed how dirty and covered in light brown grease (from the tire mount) the rim was. I expect more from a luxury brand, maintenance and professionalism is what keeps customers like me loyal to a brand, not the sales and the brand itself. More
