Eliminated along the way were Audi Q7 + Q8, Porsche Cayenne, Lexus RX350, Mercedes GLE350 +450, Subaru Ascent and Outback. Accurate trade valuation and best, beat the competition, new vehicle pricing by Greg Sarantis, Sales Manager sealed the deal. He clearly works hard to grow the business. Smooth setup for a factory tour and delivery at the BMW Performance Center in Spartanburg S.C. which I highly recommend, if you can find the time. I drove an X-5 on the track, with a professional driving instructor radioed in, harder, faster and with brake like your life depends on it intensity. The course allows one to acquire confidence and skill to maneuver in Emergency Situations. The Offroad Performance Center course and instructor were just as awesome as I drove the X5 in challenging situations, with appropriate coaching. Also included was a 3 series skid pad exercise, and a "hot lap" around the track seated in an M5, driven by a Professional Driver. We love Bert Smith BMW and our new X5! Great Experience! I started out looking at 2 cars, Lexus RC 350 and Mercedes C43 AMG, neither one lived up to the hype. So I went back to the internet to get more infor I started out looking at 2 cars, Lexus RC 350 and Mercedes C43 AMG, neither one lived up to the hype. So I went back to the internet to get more information on a sporty 2 door coupe and next to those two cars, BMW 440i hard top convertible kept coming up. Next stop, Bert Smith but they didn't have the 440i to drive but they had the 430i. I mentioned I didn't wat a 4 cyl. but the salesperson insisted that the BMW's were different. Unfortunately, they aren't and when I told her I didn't like the car she asked me about the Z4 that I was looking at in the showroom. It was beautiful but I really hadn't thought of a 2 seater convertible soft top for my 2nd car. However the more I thought about it, the more I warmed up to the idea. Why not? It was going to be a play car, my SUV was already the designated 'dog' car. I asked if they had it in all black and she said she had one up front. "UP front" means used and I never buy used cars but she insisted this one was different. Super low miles (1400) and barely used (7 weeks). I took the 2020 Black Z4 m40i for a spin and I was in love. It was loaded, fast, beautiful and so much fun! Within 2 days I was driving her home. When I replace my Lexus SUV, I'll be going to Bert Smith first instead of last. Thank you Bert Smith I am now a proud BMW 1st time owner! More
