I had a flat tire which the previous auto shop couldn’t get a lug nut off so I had to have it towed to BMW on a Saturday morning. Not ideal. The service agent was great but they didn’t have the tire I ne get a lug nut off so I had to have it towed to BMW on a Saturday morning. Not ideal. The service agent was great but they didn’t have the tire I needed. No loaners were available but they did give me a courtesy ride home. On Monday they could not get the replacement tire until Tuesday. I had to pay $500 to have the lug nut drilled out. It was a very expensive flat tire experience. Of course I had to buy a new tire also. More
The customer service representative, Derrick, was excellent. The service itself, however, was quite deficient. The day before I brought the car in I checked to make sure the part was available and co excellent. The service itself, however, was quite deficient. The day before I brought the car in I checked to make sure the part was available and confirmed that it was. I had my car in as scheduled at 7:45 AM Friday. I was sent a video about two hours later, showing me the inspection of the under surface of the car and the tires. So I knew that the car was being worked on. I was actually told that this type of repair could take up to four hours. I had not heard word by noon, nor one, nor two. At 2:30 I checked with Derrick, who informed me that the car would not be available until the following Monday. I informed him that this was completely unacceptable as I was supposed to be leaving town on Sunday for one week. He then returned to the phone and said OK, we’ll have it ready sometime Saturday. This was likely a problem with scheduling too many service appointments with not enough staff. With better management if this was anticipated, I could’ve been informed to reschedule the appointment. There’s really no excuse for pulling the repairman off of my car after starting work on it. this It created major complications for me for the remainder of Friday and Saturday until my car was available. More
