Beware of an improperly managed dealership! I made an appointment to look at a preowned BMW. Before the appointment, I received several phone calls and text messages over two days, reminding I made an appointment to look at a preowned BMW. Before the appointment, I received several phone calls and text messages over two days, reminding me about the appointment and telling me they are excited to see me when I arrive. Two hours before the appointment, I spoke to a salesperson who said they would meet me upon arrival. I told him I’m coming from an hour and a half away, but should be there on time. While I was driving to the dealership, I received another text message asking me if I’m still arriving on time to which I responded affirmatively. When I arrived at the dealership, I was told to my surprise that the car had already been sold earlier that day. The manager said they tried to call me, but were unsuccessful in reaching me. I checked and had no missed calls on my phone. This felt like a bait and switch, but ultimately the dealership appears to be managed very poorly, and I ended up wasting three hours of my time. More
