Peter was a pleasure to work with. I was having trouble finding a dealership that had a 2011 335i xDrive Sedan with a manual transmission available for test drive. I called Morristown BMW to see if they could accommodate that request and to my surprise, they could. When I arrived at the dealership, Peter had the test drive model ready for me. The car was freshly detailed and gleaming. That sounds like it should be the norm, however after test driving BMW's at competing dealerships I quickly learned otherwise. After the test drive we decided to pull the trigger on the car. After extensive research we knew where we wanted to be in terms of final number etc. Peter worked with us and with his manager to get us to where we needed to be. After negotiating back and forth we agreed on a number and placed the order for our car, which had to be custom ordered. Peter kept us in the loop with regard to the cars progress and was in touch as soon as he learned when the car was going to be delivered. We picked the car up and everything was seamless and looked great. Before leaving the dealership I noticed a small chip in the rear drivers side passenger window. Peter arranged a time for me to drop the car off with their service department and the window was swapped out and ready for pick up the next day. Overall a favorable experience with Peter and Morristown BMW. More

They sold me a 'certified car' that had to be brought in to service 5 (five) times within the first month and refused to do anything about it. I worked with Fabian Rendonsilva on a purchase of a used vehicle. Fabian was instrumental thoughout the whole process. He even picked up the phone and answered my calls during his day off. Fabian did a fantastic job. He was responsive to our needs, took all our phone calls, we never felt rushed. He went over the car to ensure we knew about all the options and such. Sold me a CPO car that was in an accident and did not disclose it even though they were fully aware of it. They provided a clean car fax but conveniently did not provide an Autocheck report, which indic disclose it even though they were fully aware of it. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but when I went to trade the car in, I found out. I still have all the NJ paperwork where they only indicated chips and scratches as prior damage. More
I called to schedule a service appointment for 2011 X5 and representative was not helpful. I needed an oil change, tire rotation and other work. I wouldn't recommend this dealership. More

We have also been customers of Smythe Volvo for eleven years. I have some observations, constructive in nature: 1. Your dealership has made a decision to limit the number of BMW loaners you have on hand. I am confident when comparing the ratio of embedded customers to loaners you would have a lower ratio than Smythe or Warnock Lexus - you would be the lowest. This creates consequences: a. You discourage loaners – I have observed that you appear to emphasize to customers that the visit will only be one hour. I wonder if you measure a metric vs. that claim. b. Only after several hours and issue do you then offer a rental car from either Enterprise or Dollar. Imagine my surprise when I am offered a Kia Mini Van as my loaner after paying $60K for my BMW. I then this week I got a very large jeep that could induce labor for an 8 month pregnant woman due to its shocks.. 2. Unevenness of your Service desk staff: a. I observed three young woman yesterday they ranged from outstanding to very poor. One who truly gets it vs. one who does not seem to view us as customers with passion or priority. 3. Your reception area for customers a. This gets an A as a facility. It works for me as I can work on site. My wife only cares about meeting the quoted hour b. Associates of your company should understand that all their conversations are heard by the customers and should refrain from holding them in this area Smythe is a true customer focused dealership. They earn 10s consistently from us. Their experience is flawless, have virtually no turnover. We get loaners 99% of the time, the rest our sales guy will drive us home. And relative to a 10, you would receive a 6 particularly since my visit on 3/30 was a repeat due to the fact that a replaced GPS DVD player did not work after leaving the dealership on 3/17. I love my car, but dealership performance is now a strong criteria for purchasing my next one which will be this year. More

Vehicle is now in repair shop of BMW of Manhattan and I am being asked to pay approx. $4,000 for required repairs to bring car back to original condition. More
