I could understand if it was busy I took my BMW in for my scheduled service on Monday morning. When I arrived I wasn’t greeted or welcomed by anyone. I could understand if it was busy but at 9:30 in the morning the AM rush was gone. Thirty minutes after I arrived I was out the door, later in the day I was called with a follow up on what my car needed. During the conversation I inquired about the tire service plan I purchased when I leased my car. the service guy answered my question then I asked for a copy of the service plan. He told me he’drequest a copy for me. Later when he called to tell me the car was ready I asked if he was able to get the service plan we discussed earlier. He stated he was working on it. Three hours later when I arrived to pick up my car, there was no document for me as we discussed. When I inquired about it was instructed to go over to the finance department. The woman at the front desk was very sweet and asked how she could help, when I told her what I needed she went back and talk to the two gentlemen in the finance department and later came back out asking for my email address telling me that they would send it over immediately once they had my email. Here we are 36 hours later and I still have yet to receive the document I have now requested at least six times I’m not sure what the problem is with this dealership. I also noticed there was a used M550 on the lot according to their website so I inquired about that vehicle when I was in the showroom. I was told the sales manager had that vehicle and it wasn’t there. Much to my surprise nobody asked if I would like to come back to see it. I don’t proceeded to walk around the show room and lots for additional 25 minutes and much to my surprise not a single sales rep came out and asked if they can help with anything. To say it was a disappointed would be a complete and total understatement. More

Everyone is polite, efficient and well trained in their jobs. Problems are quickly and satisfactorily resolved. What I think speaks to their level of service is that our son recently bought a BMW and he takes it to West German for service. More
A Great Experience I had previously purchased my 135i from WG BMW and just took it in for an inspection and service. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call from m I had previously purchased my 135i from WG BMW and just took it in for an inspection and service. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call from my service advisor JimmyGarito telling me that I had two tires which needed replacement (one with a bubble in the sidewall and the other several staples/screws with a slow leak). He informed me that he checked the vin number and that my car was still covered by the supplemental wheel/tire insurance and that these would be covered. He also applied a discounted state inspection rate because I am a senior and a $50 credit to some programming changes to correct an issue with the idle. Jimmy really impressed me as an advocate for ME!. Not what you usually expect from a dealership!! The work done by the dealership maintenance area is always top notch and never has required a follow up visit. They know their cars and are even looking out for their clients! What a nice surprise!! West German BMW Strikes Out Again Took my can in for inspection and this is where they failed again. The car was taken for a wash although they know I do not want the car washed, wh Took my can in for inspection and this is where they failed again. The car was taken for a wash although they know I do not want the car washed, why am I complaining. Every time they wash my car something happens where I am put out; this is what happened when they took the car to be washed and cleaned: 1 . Car Registration card is missing 2. Insurance card is missing 3. Had a bank statement for the American Legion Post where I am the finance office missing - now I have to get the board together to let them know our Post's EIN number and bank account number are out there 4. Had a copy of a BFI (Buyers Financial Information) in an envelope in the front seat and that is missing - Now I have to close my bank accounts and open new ones But they did not throw away a pack of opened cigarettes that might of been under the front seat for maybe a few weeks, they place the pack nicely on the passenger seat. As I would smoke an opened pack of cigarettes that has been seating in a hot car for a week weeks. These people are so fascinated with washing the customers cars that it is beyond OCD and mental illness. There should be a new class of disorder just for them WGCWD (West German Car Wash Disorder). The service is terrible, they have caused issues and they think that peoples information being out there is no big deal in an era of identity theft, they are stuck in the 80's. This was the same issue as my prior review, where they gave another customer my information (name, address, and license number) and they gave me the other customers info by mistake. If they put as much emphasize on protecting peoples information as they do washing the cars then there would be no issue. I have a lease so I am stuck for the next 10 months but after leasing since 2003 with them, I will be moving on to another dealer and make of car. BMW USA should really look at this place and how they provide service (I use service loosely when associating the word with West German Sales). More
335xi Steering Issues - Difficult to resolve My 335xi had an issue where it pulled to the right. The car went to the dealer multiple times. I had lost hope in a fix. Once the issue was escalated My 335xi had an issue where it pulled to the right. The car went to the dealer multiple times. I had lost hope in a fix. Once the issue was escalated to the service manager (Richard Lanci) extra attention was taken to ensure me that the issue would be resolved. The service manager drove the car and called me almost every day to let me know what was done. At the end of it all there was actually a problem with the alignment machine and an adjustment that needed to be made to the steering rack. Even though this issue took a while to figure out and resolve the dealership did a wonderful job. Thanks -Mark More

A battery that had not given me any trouble before but to them was determined to be failing but then still going on to perform the service without advising me about the problem. I then they had to jump the car when I arrived and died multiple times the next day causing me to be stranded. I will never go back to this dealership and they have lost my business. I just hope they learn how to educate their employees instead of teaching them to try to scare/intimidate the customer into doing what they want. More

I have been dealing with West German BMW since 2003; I have had 3 leases and purchased 1 pre-owned. Let say that the sales people are great, there is nothing negative to say about the members on the sale have had 3 leases and purchased 1 pre-owned. Let say that the sales people are great, there is nothing negative to say about the members on the sales team. The service department is another story, these people in service do not follow instructions, there is no communications between the person who handles the drop off and the service advisor and the actual people who do the service. I have complained to management over the last 11 years countlessly on this issue. Most of the service employees have this feeling that once you drop it off for service it is thier car and that the can do as they please with out any regaurd to the customer who actually owns the car. My recommendation to management is; tell your service people not to mess with the customer's car and that includes moving the seats, moving the mirror, moving the steering wheel, changing the radio station, changing the temp and anything else in the interior. Thier aurguement is that the employees have to be safe when driving the car (the entire 300 feet from drop off to service bay) but they don't really car about your safety the other 365 days off the year that the customer has to drive the car.
