My initial experience as I walked in the door of Arrigo Dodge was a GREAT one. I detest car shopping but Sales Advisor Alexj Morgan was GREAT and greatly exceeded expectations on helping me find a great c Dodge was a GREAT one. I detest car shopping but Sales Advisor Alexj Morgan was GREAT and greatly exceeded expectations on helping me find a great car for me. But then it seemed once I said "I'll take it" and committed to writing a check for the full asking amount of the car, things started going wrong. For example, we had to wait several hours to have a turn with one of their finance people so I could write a check for the car (not finance it). BUT the absolute worst part, which bordered on insulting to me was how I was treated once I pointed out that the car's A/C wasn't cold enough and that I wanted them to check it before driving it off the lot. Alexj took my concern to someone in service who never came to speak with me directly, he only spoke through a messenger (Alexj). This service person claimed that I didn't know what I was talking about. That the car had to be allowed to let run for longer for it to get cold. It had run for plenty long enough. So then the next excuse for why they weren't going to look at it was that it was my fault in that I didn't know how to work it and that I probably didn't have the system set on recirculate, which it already was. I'm 57 years old and owned a Dodge Dart before. I know how to work the A/C just fine and didn't appreciate suggesting that I was just a simpleton who didn't know what I was talking about. They never did check it. One week later, I was still very dissatisfied with the A/C so I decided to take it to a different Dodge dealer in Plantation. And guess what.......turns out I WAS RIGHT. There was a BIG problem with the A/C system. It needed a new compressor and several other parts that took two days to fix!! The cost of the repairs will be covered under the extended warranty that I purchased, OTHER THAN the $200 deductible that I am going to have to pay, which I believe Arrigo owes to me. More
