I went to Baystate Ford looking for some expert advise on which truck to pursue. Joe Caporizzo came over to help me and from the start I was impressed with his knowledge of the Ford truck line, especially his ability to recognize my needs as he didn't try to push the biggest and most expensive truck but instead gave me a break down of the F-150 and how it would go above and beyond what I am looking for in a personal use truck. He was very friendly from the start and I didn't get any feelings of being pressured to buy at any point. He recognized I was looking for something practical and affordable and did not try to deviate from that at all in order to up the potential sale. This was by far the best experience I've had when shopping for an automobile and I would absolutely recommend this dealership to family and friends. More
Incompetence and deceitful. I bought a brand new car here and brought it back three times to get repairs done. By lemon law if the car has been repaired three times for the same thing the dealer has to give and brought it back three times to get repairs done. By lemon law if the car has been repaired three times for the same thing the dealer has to give you your money back. The third time I went in they worked on my car for the same problem. When finished they claimed their printer was down and they would mail me my documents about the third repair. They never did mail it to me. I called 3 times and they said they would mail it. A month went by and I went in to retrieve the documents myself and they claimed that I had never been there that day. They said they have no recollection that I was there. Spoke with several managers and they too refused to help me. So now I have a new car that is not functioning and I have no where to turn. More

My first visit at Bay State was to test drive a Focus back in May. Another sales man started to work with me, then passed me off to Chuck Jones. Chuck and I hit it off very well and I had an enjoyable te back in May. Another sales man started to work with me, then passed me off to Chuck Jones. Chuck and I hit it off very well and I had an enjoyable test drive experience. Afterwards I explained to Chuck that I had a couple of other cars I was considering and would be in touch. I ended up finding a car that I preferred to the Focus. When I spoke to Chuck to let him know that I was out of the car market, he accepted the news very graciously. I explained that the car I bought had a bigger back seat that would better accommodate my oversized Weimaraner dog. I then added that I would be looking for a used Super Duty pickup truck. We discussed the particular requirements: F250 or F350, Super Cab, long bed. I needed this to accommodate the model truck camper we hoped to buy down the road. I told Chuck that I was not in a hurry. He offered to keep his eyes open for such a truck but allowed that the combination we were seeking was rare and examples would likely prove few and far between. Five months later, Chuck contacted me about a 2008 Super Duty truck that he thought would be just right. My wife (reluctantly) and I (eagerly) took a test ride and enjoyed it. My wife especially liked that it was red. Unfortunately, when we got back, we realized that the truck had a short bed. It wouldn't work for our plan. Chuck was gracious about that and proposed a couple of new alternatives that were really more than we wanted to spend and also lacking some of the details we were hoping to get. Two weeks ago, Chuck contacted me about an F350 that had just come in on a trade. It was a Super Cab, long bed, Lariat, diesel model. I was not enthusiastic about the diesel, but we decided to give it a try. I knew that diesels generally provide better fuel mileage and thought it would be worth a test ride. This truck was older, a 2005, but only showed 60,000 miles on the odometer. Due to the age, the price as right in our budget ballpark and also matched the Kelly Blue Book price. A quick inspection of the body and engine compartment showed that this was indeed a low mileage truck. More important, we found the raucous diesel noise to be acceptable, and the ride was considerably better than the first truck we had driven. The Lariat amenities include heated leather commanders seats, a fine quality stereo radio with CD and cassette drives, automatic climate control, etc. The truck was equipped specifically for camper duty and has Ford's Camper Certification. And best of all it's blue. (Luckily, although she would have preferred the red, she does kind of like the blue.) Throughout this process, Chuck was a gentleman to deal with. It appears that he worked diligently to find me the perfect truck. When his first offering slightly missed the mark, he asked a few more questions and came back right on money. Over the years, I have purchased 13 cars from dealers. Chuck is by far the best person I have dealt with. I would recommend him to anyone who is in the market for a car or truck. More
