I set up an appointment a week and a half in advanced, so they could order the parts for a safety recall, breaks and airbag. I dropped off my vehicle early in the morning, on the service date. I asked when it would be done, I was told around 2:00 PM. hey would call me. by 3:30 PM still no call, I called them, and spoke with the person in service about my vehicle, and he informed me he did not know anything about my vehicle, and would have some one call me back, at 4:00 PM I received a call and was told my vehicle would by ready by the end of the day. At 5:00 PM I dropped by Baystate, to see if it was ready, when I asked about it, the man at the desk stated " I told you it would be ready by the end of the day", I said ok, I'll be waiting in the waiting area till it was ready. At 5:20 PM I got a call on my cell, from Baystate ford, the person on the phone said he was the service manager, and asked my if I could leave my vehicle they did not have the right part. I told he I was in the waiting area, He did not know that I was there, he came out and talked with me informing me that they did not have the pars for my vehicle, and they were on order, and if I could bring my vehicle back on Thursday. I told him that is why I made the appointment a week and a half in advanced, so you could have the parts in. and that the man on the desk told me my car would be ready by the end of the day, he ask me who told you that, I am the service manager, and never said it would be ready today. He just told me that the parts have to match the VIN #, and need to reorder them. He would call me when they come in. It has been 3 weeks now and I have not received a call from him. I would not recommend Baystate ford any service on any vehicle. More
This dealership is very friendly and knowledgeable! I have had several different repairs to my vehicle and they are very patient explaining the issue and why! A few days ago I had a lo pressure indication on my vehicle and I decided nitrogen would help if I had a leak. The technician gave me 50 lb pressure in each tire, Am I making this up. In the USAF I was vehicle and I decided nitrogen would help if I had a leak. The technician gave me 50 lb pressure in each tire, Am I making this up. In the USAF I was a depot maintenance supervisor in London for military vehicles. My car bounced around after the service of nitrogen and I almost had an accident.Instead of finding the problem in the first place they just removed the air and added nitrogen. Why didn't the tech. roll the vehicle to check? There was a roofing nail which I said to look for in the first visit. I had a low pressure indication a week later and the customer svc. personnel asked if I put air in because they found 50 lb. in the tires Supposed to be 35 in my Honda.. I could sue. as Baystate ford exceeded the max allowable pressure. Do you have a guy on the staff who is in a hurry? Are they on commission? I could demand new tires or go to the AG now. I will wait for your response More
