I bought a 2025 Cadillac XT4 and it has had problems since day 1. The shocks had to be replaced after 1 week of ownership, it's been in twice because the radio does not go quiet when a text comes in - since day 1. The shocks had to be replaced after 1 week of ownership, it's been in twice because the radio does not go quiet when a text comes in - that still does not work. Most recently the turbo charger had to be replaced, which is the reason for my response. My engine light came on and after taking it to an Autozone for them to tell me the issue, I called Tom Clark to get my car into service. Take into account, I drive twice a day to downtown Dallas for work and take the expressway. I was told not to worry unless the engine light flashes, then take it immediatey to the dealership for repair. That may be a tow charge, and at the very least, unsafe especially if I was stalled on the expressway. I explained this to the service advisor and asked for a loaner car, I always heard this was one of the advantages of owning a Cadillac -the service department was one step ahead of the other brands. But no, I was told it would be almost a month before I could get a loaner! (I don't have the luxury from working from home) I called Sewell and they immediately got me hooked up with an account, told me to bring it in the same day and they had a loaner car for me waiting. Their service department was very professional and impressive. It was indeed the tubo charger that needed replaced. They had to keep the car over the weekend but at leat I had the loaner. I understand the fleet at Tom Clark may not be the largest just because of the smaller size of the dealersip, however, I felt like this was a problem that needed to be fixed immediately. Very dissapointed the in the cadillac service I received from Tom Clark. I know you all have cars, because when my shocks went out I had no problems getting a loaner. I guess I just needed the code or right terminology to know how to get that type of service again. I have purchased 5 Buicks and then my first Cadillac, albeit it was just the XT4, from your dealership and I guess I just expected a better service relationship with your Cadillac dealership. I will try out your Cadillac service department again, but if it's not satisfacory, I will have to move my service to Marla over at Sewell. They seem to understand the needs of a loaner car. Of course Tom Clark is more convenient but needs must. I will say that with my Buicks, Jarett Abel, always took great care with our vehicles and knew us by sight or name. I never had an issue with the service just the Cadillac experience that I was led to believe was a cut abve. Thanks Gary Wall 817-360-3001 More
