Brandon was very helpful with Getting items repaired in a timely manner. I had an issue that was not addressed on a previous visit and Brandon made sure to have it taken care of. Payment methods at Tom Clark are not friendly at all. When you are paying thousands of dollars for repairs and they charge you 3% or more for credit card use, the already inflated bill is just that much more. I take my vehicle there because I trust their work to be correct and timely even if it is more $$. But to have to get a cashier's check or pay 3% for the credit card use is ridiculous. I happen to be a lucky business owner from whom checks are accepted. With all the various types of payment methods available now, why don't they employ other methods as well. I find it very annoying and would take my vehicle elsewhere if I couldn't pay with my business check. I am one of the few people that does carry cash, but not thousands of dollars so if they do take cash, which I am not sure that they do, a 2,3-or 4-thousand-dollar bill would render that moot. I paid them $1450 to repair the thermostat and had to return just over a week later because the a/c still wasn't cooling properly, which they didn't check the first time even though it was told to the intake person on the phone. They assumed it was caused by the bad thermostat but didn't bother to check it further, why would they when they can make more money for another day of service. Removing some of the same parts that were already removed and could have saved me a dollar or two. Over $2300 in labor costs for jobs that were approximately 8 hours total, they don't list the time on the invoice, so that's close to $300/hour. More
