I contacted at least nine dealerships trying to get someone to give me out the door car pricing so I could work out my finances and get the right car. I had a terrible time interacting with several dealerships. Just trying to get answers from them on what my needs were. When I interacted with Anthony Zavala , he got right to work and took me very seriously answering all my questions working with all my requests and even having a porter transport, a special color car from another dealership for me all while meeting my best deal possible price request. he was very transparent. Everything was as he said when I arrived at the dealership, the car was ready then I encountered Michael park who finished the deal on behalf of Anthony who had left for the day and Michael took very good care of preparing the car and making sure our needs where met. We met with Reginald Dickerson in the finance who I wanted to decline on all his products but he took the time to talk about the gap insurance and make sure that our family had what we needed with teenage drivers. Overall, I am blown away by the special attention and the excellent teamwork that was at this dealership. I have gotten several cars here over many years and I plan to Return 100%. Thank you so much to everybody on your team.

Purchased a vehicle 02/15/2026. It is now 7/23/26 and I still have no title. DMV confirmed the dealer failed to file the paperwork within the required 90 days and is liable. I’ve made multiple calls and cannot get a straight answer or a callback. Still unresolved

This is a first class dealership beautiful new building everyone is so welcoming . I was greeted by Mark Hashimi sales consultant he was very welcoming and positive.He worked very hard for me to get the best price for my Toyota Tacoma that he could . I appreciated him being so supportive and patient with me . I would highly recommend Mark to any of my friends to purchase a vehicle from Toyota of Carlsbad , he made it less painful in purchasing a vehicle.

Jason and Garrett were both amazing! Jason did everything in his power to get me the exact 4Runner I wanted. He was patient and extremely helpful and made sure I was happy with my purchase. Garrett made sure I loved how it felt and drove once it was my 4runner was delivered and made the paperwork portion very quick and easy. He also helped me setup everything in the car. Both of them and their team are amazing and made the car purchasing process so easy with no added pressure they made sure I was happy with what I wanted. I’m definitely coming back to buy another car from them.

I am deeply disappointed with my experience at Toyota Kearny Mesa. I purchased a brand new vehicle from this dealership, only to discover it had mechanical issues and staining upon delivery — defects that are entirely unacceptable for a new car. I contacted the dealership requesting a vehicle replacement, as these are not issues that should be repaired on a brand new car — they warrant a full replacement. Unfortunately, my concerns were met with complete indifference. Manager Dona Lozano handled the situation in an unprofessional and dismissive manner, refusing to take any accountability or offer a reasonable resolution. This level of customer service is unacceptable, especially for a dealership representing a reputable brand like Toyota. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing a vehicle here to think twice and explore other options before making such a significant financial investment.

We had such an awesome experience at Santa Margarita Toyota last night. Huge thanks to Kevin, Otto, Kai, and Ephraim for taking such great care of us. My daughter turned in her Toyota RAV4 lease early and drove away in a brand new hybrid RAV4 for the same monthly payment she was already paying. She was completely blown away. She drove it to work this morning and was absolutely in heaven. She’s stoked to have a new car, better gas mileage, and such a great deal. What made it even better was how easy and pleasant the whole process was. The vibe at Santa Margarita Toyota is super low pressure, but still really helpful. Everyone was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Toyotas are already great cars and people want them, but if you’re going to buy one, this is the dealership to go to. They didn’t have the exact 2026 RAV4 she wanted because they’re so new, but they ordered it, called us the day it came in, and made the whole process so smooth. Turning in the leased car and leaving with the new one was way easier than we expected. My daughter and I both said the same thing when we left: that was the easiest transaction we’ve ever had at any dealership. We’re so thankful and highly recommend Santa Margarita Toyota. Great people, great service, great dealership!

I had a great and positive experience purchasing a brand new Corolla Cross Hybrid with Toyota of Poway. From the start Alex was very attentive on the negotiation, after a lot of research I found out that only Toyota of Poway and another Toyota dealer in San Diego area are fair and honest with the price of the vehicle, they actually sell it for the advertised price (window sticker) without adding thousands of dollars on ad ons and junk fees that most dealers do illegally, not mentioning that I never felt any type of sales pressure whatsoever. The General Manager Michael was very kind and took the time to make sure my experience was going well. Toby Zachry the finance manager made the final steps of the process seamless and smooth and got me on my way in no time. He also was able to give me a great deal on an extended warranty package and alarm system. I highly recommend buying a car from this dealership to anyone in the market for a new or used car. I am so glad I went to them. Thank You to the whole team at Toyota of Poway! You guys rock!

I went in for an oil change service with an appointment and was told it would take an hour and a half with a car wash. I was okay with waiting but it wasn't done until three hours later. There was no communication except for me asking the cashier if my truck was ready. I was finally informed by the service guy it was ready. I paid and I gave my ticket to the porter to bring my truck around it took another twenty plus minutes and was not washed. I called and complained to the service manager about my experience and all that was offered was for me to bring my truck down to get washed. I guess if you pay extra for a service contract they don't care because they already have your money.
