Bought 3 new cars from this dealership in Victoria Texas. This is one of 2 we purchased brand new in 2022. A month or so ago the cruise control went out. Made an appointment to get it repaired, because it was still under warranty. They had trouble taking the steering column apart, saying the air bag might not work. They claimed someone took the steering column apart and tampered with it. Now they are telling us they repaired the cruise control switch, but they found other issues (metal filings in the steering column? Paint marks on the steering column?) and that they will not warranty it because of suspected tampering. When we asked multiple times if it was safe to drive, they would not say it was. Now they are telling us we have to come and pick up the unsafe car and sign a paper stating they are not responsible for anything that happens going forward. When we asked if they were accusing us of tampering with it, the manager said no. We are the only owners. Welcome to Mac Haik customer service. (reviews are abysmal and they tend to not honor warranties regularly) They still have our car.

We went to Texas drive auto to look at and test drive a used Lexus. We were taken care of by a guy was extremely polite and very professional. We felt at ease and had peace during the whole experience. The process of identifying and test driving vehicles was seamless. They definitely have that part of the car buying experience down pat. Our hope is that everything turns out great with this vehicle which I believe it will. Time will tell. As far as the dealership, they earned our business.

Very upset with service department. The manager could care less. I spent over $2k on service and they could not even get engine light to come off on my wife’s car. One excuse after another and their service agents literally just read from a computer generated service sheet. Manager is a joke and basically told me he does not what is going on and he is just there to do payroll. Your experience has forced us to never consider another Hyundai ever again. Sad that in a tough economy you are ripping people off in that service department. The quote that wins it all is last thing the agent said to us was “it is not safe to drive and tech estimates full breakdown in 1 month”. Wants us to spend another $6k on service. Buyers beware of this dealer.

Had an oil change on June 4, 2024. - Very disappointed customer

Had an oil change on June 4, 2024. Started seeing fluid on the ground whenever I parked the vehicle. Had my husband look at it and discovered oil was leaking on the ground. Tried to get service appt this past Fri and Sat but the message stated the service dept was closed. Needless to say I had to get the vehicle checked out and found out the the gasket was not tightened after the last oil change. Had to get a new oil change and thank goodness for that dealership’s expertise in analyzing and fixing the careless error of Tejas service department. Will never go back to Tejas now renamed Space City! Very costly error

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding repeated unsatisfactory service at All Star Honda located at 1399 S Danville Dr, Abilene TX 79605, concerning my vehicle’s infotainment and camera system on our 2018 Honda Odyssey. Despite multiple visits to the dealership and payment for services rendered, my issue has not been resolved, and I have not been refunded for the services that were not completed as promised. Here is a summary of the situation: 1. Initial Visit: On Dec 30, 2021, I brought my 2018 Honda Odyssey to the dealership for repair of the infotainment system, which was malfunctioning and cracking and popping could be heard from the speakers. During this visit the stress was relieved from the communication (“MOST” cables) and the problem was fixed for a short period of time. 2. Follow-Up Visits: 1. On April 29, 2024, we brought our Honda Odyssey in for the main display which houses the radio, rear back-up camera, cabin watch camera and various other features was turning off and on by itself. Dealership did find an update to push and accomplished the update. 2. Despite the service performed, the issue persisted, and I returned to the dealership on Jul 31, 2024 for a safety recall (#23-046, to address the “MOST” coaxial cable connector issues that can cause the rear camera to malfunction where a replacement coaxial was replaced to due the tension, tightness and manufacturing defects.) 3. The vehicle was brought back to the dealership again on Dec 9,2024 for problems stemming from the main infotainment display; the display was turning off and on randomly, the back-up camera presented “MOST” connection errors and would not show the backup camera video feed. Honda mis-diagnosed the problem to be a faulty amp and tuner set and these items were replaced for $1890.11 and the vehicle was returned to us on Dec 13, 2024. 4. After paying nearly $1890.11, we believed that our Honda was operating as it should and that our safety concerns of running over someone’s child or our own child were mitigated. However less than four weeks after the previous visit, we brought it back to the Honda dealership on Jan 2, 2025 for the same problem with the infotainment system turning off and on intermittently, the camera not working properly and displaying the same errors it previously did. During the 13 days that the car was at the dealership very little information was provided to the us on what was being done on our vehicle. I drove by the dealership numerous times only to find our van parked behind the dealership with no one working on it. It seemed as if the dealership had given up on it and moved on, but didn’t want to tell us that they didn’t have the expertise to fix it or didn’t know what to do next. We had asked the dealership numerous times if they had found any solutions and all we heard was that they were “troubleshooting”, even though the van wasn’t in the service bay on multiple occasions as I drove behind the dealership. The Honda service advisor told us repeatedly that they were attempting to find the issue but recalls were taking priority in the shop. After finding no viable resolution for almost two weeks, we told the dealership that we needed our car back on Jan 14, 2025, despite no repair being accomplished. 3. Failure to Address the Issue: After 3 visits within a 6-month period (Aug 31 2024, Dec 9 2024 and Jan 2, 2025), the infotainment and camera system are still malfunctioning and “MOST” connection errors are still present. I have spent a significant amount of time and money attempting to resolve this matter, with no resolution. 4. Request for Refund: Given that the issue remains unresolved, I formally requested a refund for the charges incurred on Dec 9, 2024 visit of $1890.11. The bad reviews across various platforms are a direct reflection of this dealerships trustworthiness. We were offered a trade in value for our car, but it was not a fair trade amount so it was declined.

Most awful experience in my 40 years at the South Location. No communication, won't return calls when I need something. Haggled me for a deposit while out of town for a family emergency but wouldn't return calls when I need them to or answer a question when I returned. Paint is peeling on hood only 3 months in and won't rectify it. Never Again at this dealer.

Needed headlight replaced but had no appointment. Service tech, I think named Allisin, said she didn't want me to wait 2 hours. She told me to lesve the car there, go inside, buy new light and service manager could install right there. It took only 10 minutes and they didn't even charge me for labor. Amazing service! That's why they've been our dealer for 5 years

I have purchased 2 cars with Texan Hyundai. In 2018 I got a limited Sonata and in 2023 a limited Tucson with my husband. I plan to go in at the end of 2024 to trade in my Sonata for a Santa Fe. I have nothing be good things to say. James was very easy to work with. Then when we went to underwriting they laid everting out very clearly and left it up to us what we wanted to do. I didn't feel like an agenda was pushed on us.

I have been driving Hondas for almost 27 years. I'm aware of mechanical issues that can happen, regular maintenance that should be done, etc. I had never used this dealership until recently. I acquired an old Pilot, and decided to try them out with an oil change. From previous experiences, I won't go anywhere else for that service, but a Honda dealership. I get treated just like any other customer, even though my car isn't as shiny and new. I like the inspections and reminders they go over for service. It's not a hard sell, like you might find with other convenient places. Connor and Greg B. have been most helpful with all my questions and service needs. Both were informative on how I can save on some needed maintenance. Both went out of their way--Conner with providing me carfax to determine current service needs and quotes, and Greg going above and beyond with loaner options, and his service, and ideas to save money. The dealership was busy both times those men helped me, and they were patient and kind, never rushed me, nor did they exhibit anything other than superior service. Thank you!!!!
