First my AC and now my radiator. And they don't take responsibility for anything. If you need repairs to your Ford, try a didn't dealership, not this one. I gave them two middle fingers up and walked out the door. More

The dealer had performed necessary service on this car which was bought at auction (per the CARFAX). The car showed well and drove well. I told the salesman that I liked the car, but there was an airbag light showing on the dashboard. We agreed that he would look into it and call me the next morning; at which point I would give him my credit card over the phone to put a deposit on it. Then I drove 170+ miles back home. Next morning - no call. When I called the salesman, I found out that it had been sold. I was expecting a call and made it clear that I would take the car if the airbag could be resolved. Net result was I wasted an entire day and a tank of gas driving to see this car and the salesman did not keep up his end of the deal. I will not be doing business with this dealership again. They do not keep their commitments More

Not Pleased I called in to the Service Department and spoke to Kipp and told him that I was coming in to drop off my Ford Taurus. When I walked in to check in my I called in to the Service Department and spoke to Kipp and told him that I was coming in to drop off my Ford Taurus. When I walked in to check in my vehicle, he did not seem knowledgeable in what he was doing. He asked me what my name was 6 different times. I told him that I have never been in this store, and he kept trying to find me in their system. He did not listen to me very well when I explained to him what was going on with my car. He kept saying and what else is going on, I told him that I told him everything and he kept asking the same question, "what else is going on". I finally left and received a phone call from George. He told me that my car needed a new battery and a new power module and a new alternator and a new a/c compressor and it was going to cost me $2,300 for it all to be fixed. I went in to pick up my car the next day to take it to another mechanic. They could not find my paperwork or my keys. They were very unorganized. I took my car to another mechanic who told me the only thing wrong with my car was my alternator went bad and it had a short in it and all my a/c needed was to be charged. He fixed my car for 400 bucks and my car works great. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They are not knowledgable, they a very unorganized, they lack professionalism and lack customer service. More

The process went well and I felt that I was getting a great deal. Three weeks later, every car owners worst dream happened and the engine locked up after blowing a head gasket and other problems that a experience mechanic wouldn't have missed when they serviced the vehicle the day it was sold too me. When I called to confront them of this discovery while I was broken down along side the road, I was met with rude comments and since there was no warranty they refused to help in any way with my situation. I am now out $4,000 that I don't have as a working college student and a Marine Corps veteran. This place has no honor as a car dealership or human decency to do the right thing and there for if you value the product your trying to buy avoid McCafferty Ford. As an added note I traded in a 2006 Dodge Charger that during the process I made them awake that the upper manifold need to be replaced. They have it listed on their website for three times the price I traded and I know they didn't replace so don't make the same mistake I did or you'll regret buy that vehicle as well. More

Do not purchase a vehicle here . We purchased a lemon...used truck here. Never received a manual , were charged a fortune for issues that were not fixed properly and this led to more issues costing more money . The staff there took no ownership for selling us junk and never denied that the vehicle had a history and reputation for issues, however , they still left us not knowing if we would end up paying the equivalent of buying another truck to fix it . They were more concerned about getting every penny out of us that they could instead of giving us sound advice and working with us for their mistakes . They are not to be trusted . If you try to talk to someone from the ford corporate office they will not allow you to reach anyone refuse to give a contact number . More
Nickel and dime Made an online appointment to have my vehicle inspected. That part was easy. Arrived early for my appointment and sat in the clean waiting area near Made an online appointment to have my vehicle inspected. That part was easy. Arrived early for my appointment and sat in the clean waiting area near the windows. I kept waiting for my car to be taken back for service. My car was not taken back for inspection until 25 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment. I continued to wait patiently. Almost 2 hours later I questioned an assistant manager of service about my vehicle. She was attentive and polite I was told that I'd have to see another assistant manager of service for details. When I arrived at his computer station I was told that they wanted to change my oil since the vehicle did not have a sticker indicating the latest oil change. I explained that my husband had changed the oil in the car not two weeks ago and that they would not need to change it. Why assume that an oil change is necessary when I had only scheduled an inspection? This is not the first time they have attempted to perform additional services. I was then told that my car failed inspection due to wiper blades!? Would it have passed it I allowed them to change the oil?! I asked for the vehicle and explained that my husband would change the wiper blades. They said that I would have to come back to finish the inspection. I fully understand that. They also went on to explain that state inspections typically take 2 hours. I explained that the state of Pennsylvania requires a technician to spend 30 minutes inspecting a car, not 2 hours. They quickly offered to replace my wipers free of charge in an attempt to get me out of their building. Apparently service managers don't appreciate knowledgeable patrons. They went on to explain that they were "behind schedule" due to low staffing today. NOT MY PROBLEM. When I arrived I should have been informed that they were behind schedule. Customer service need not be taxing on the customer. I am treated with much more respect by a local Toyota dealership. (They are quick and do not perform unnecessary services looking for additional charges.) More
What they don't want you to know They are friendly but with my experience they didn't want to work with someone that is going to give them a small commission. I am truly disappointed They are friendly but with my experience they didn't want to work with someone that is going to give them a small commission. I am truly disappointed in this place. I heard so much about it. Again this was my experience. Maybe the salesman was having an off day. Won't go back will recommend a few other places. Have a wonderful day More
Go see Bill Jupitz if you are in the market for a new car. I've bought a total of 3 from him and each time he has lowered my payments. I hope McCafferty knows how important he is to their dealershi car. I've bought a total of 3 from him and each time he has lowered my payments.
