Due to ware and tear on an older model and the potential repair costs we went for a new or used 2015 model but found we had no wiggle room for negotiations and the trade-in value for the older model fluctuated with the price of one car option versus another. That was a surprise unless this is the new era of 'let's pretend your trade-in has any value at all'. I suspect the "value" was really based on the room the salesperson had to concede up front on the price of the purchase. Given the higher expense quoted for repairs through the dealer versus independent repair shops, it is quite possible we could have waited a few more years to trade in the old one. They really are good cars and it is a shame the reviewers continue to downplay their worth. The eyesight feature is outstanding! More

Made the impossible, possible I came in to to have my 2013 Outback serviced. As I was getting ready to wait, I noticed a sign in the lobby saying Tucson Subaru was looking for cert I came in to to have my 2013 Outback serviced. As I was getting ready to wait, I noticed a sign in the lobby saying Tucson Subaru was looking for certain cars to trade or buy. My car was one of the models. So I thought, why not ask what the value was? I had been struggling to make the large payment and was looking to lower my monthly bills. The problem was my credit, it had taken a hit the past few years and now facing retirement I had no idea how to manage the 5 year loan. Gil had the answer! He said he could put me in a brand new CrossTrek XV with a 3 year lease and still save me $67.00 on my monthly payment. No money down. Traci in Finance gave me the happy news I could also have a 3 year maintenance plan, and be covered for 2 years under warranty. A great deal.
