⭐ 1 Star I had a very disappointing experience at Brandon Honda’s service department. Despite having a scheduled appointment, I was not approached or acknowledged when I arrived. I came in for a routine oil change and to address a check engine light that had already been diagnosed by another Honda dealership. Before even inspecting my vehicle, the service advisor, Tom, attempted to upsell me a $6,000 “100k maintenance package” consisting of parts replacements and labor—without first evaluating the condition of the car. This immediately raised concerns about transparency and integrity. When I asked about resolving the check engine light, I was told I would need to pay $265 for another diagnostic fee, even though the issue had already been diagnosed by a Honda dealership. I was informed there were no notes in their system because it was done at a different Honda location, which points to a serious lack of communication between dealerships—and the customer is expected to pay the price for that disconnect. I was also quoted $600 for a spark plug replacement, with spark plugs priced at $54.99 each (not including labor), despite the same NGK spark plugs retailing for a fraction of that cost. The pricing felt excessive and intentionally inflated. The overall experience relied heavily on scare tactics and aggressive upselling, rather than honest assessments and customer-focused service. Multiple service recommendations were made without even looking at the vehicle. If you’re comfortable paying well above market rates and being pushed into unnecessary service packages, this may be the place for you. Otherwise, I strongly recommend seeking service elsewhere. More

I want to thank the management and sales associate that helped me purchase my automobile. I had a budget as to what I wanted to pay and car note. They add an additional 3% to your bill if you use a charge card to pay the bill and do not warn you about the charge. Instead they say it is posted but it must be in very fine print because I spent 8 h charge card to pay the bill and do not warn you about the charge.
