Our overall experience with Xavier was positive. He was friendly, engaged, and took the time to explain the different trims of the TX 500h. Most importantly, we never felt pressured to make a purchase, he never tried to hard-sell the vehicle, which we really appreciated. However, our experience took a turn when we sat down with the finance manager, Earl. We asked if he could match or beat the pre-approval rate we had from our bank, and his response was, “Why does it matter if you’re only taking out a small loan?” That comment caught us off guard, it felt dismissive and unprofessional, but we kept calm and just wanted to get through the process. Things only got worse when we declined the additional packages he offered, simply because we didn’t need them. After that, Earl’s body language and attitude noticeably shifted, it felt like we were no longer welcome. We were really disappointed with his behavior. If we had the option, we would have preferred to work with a different finance manager. Despite that, we’re happy with Xavier and the service he provided. More
