Some time ago, I noticed a failure in the vehicle’s transmission, especially when shifting from first gear. I took the car to my trusted mechanic, who suspected a transmission issue but couldn't confirm it definitively since the vehicle was still moving, though with difficulty. I then consulted two other mechanics, who gave me similar feedback. In search of a more technical opinion, I brought the vehicle to a competing dealership for a diagnostic. They reported a failure in three sensors and quoted a repair cost of around $5,000—without guaranteeing that the issue would be resolved. Considering the high cost and the uncertainty, I returned to my mechanics, who informed me that their diagnostic tools showed no fault with the sensors. With my car sitting idle for over four months, unable to work and support my family, I went back to the Kia dealership to request a transmission replacement. However, I was advised by the service supervisors that replacing the transmission would not solve the problem and that the real issue was with the sensors. Trusting Kia’s diagnosis, I purchased the sensors directly from the dealership and had my mechanic install them. Unfortunately, this did not fix the issue. It is now clear that the problem is indeed with the transmission, just as initially suspected. This situation has placed me in a very difficult financial position: I spent a significant amount on sensors based on an incorrect diagnosis and now do not have the means to afford the necessary transmission replacement. Given this, I kindly ask the dealership to review my case and consider offering support—whether through a discount on the transmission replacement, a flexible payment plan, or a more thorough technical analysis that could lead to a definitive solution. I am open to dialogue and truly hope we can find a fair and reasonable resolution. Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to your response. Complete lies over the phone and in person. That you can 100% do that and that I have to work with him on the numbers when they offered 500$ for my trade and wouldn't lower the car's price even 1$. But facts are facts, and refinancing is NOT 100% as I know many finance companies will not allow that. I was told one thing over the phone and drove 2 hours away just to be told completely different things. They knew my trade; they knew the only car I was coming for. Never has a bigger waste of my time ever happened at a dealership.AVOID Greenway Kia at all costs. A bit more I have a 2011 Mini Cooper Countryman with 179k miles yes that is a lot of miles i completely understand this but this has a new transmission, brand new tires, new breaks, and rotors, as what I bought it for it was used for I have offers in writing from 2 other dealerships for over 2k and greenway offered 500$ and refused to do anything on their car again not even a single dollar. What was said over the phone is not what they say in person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am attaching photos where they clearly said up to 5k more for trade-in value just to offer 90% less than other dealerships. also attached a photo of my car so you can see yes it has many miles but is in good shape. 100% not perfect but not 500$ if they had offered the same amount that I showed them I was offered at other dealerships that I clearly showed them and wiggled just a bit on the SUV we were buying we could have made a deal. Instead, I was lowballed badly on my trade and was told the price of the SUV was the price. Now also to note that this would have been our 4th car and in no way needed as we already have a 2018 Fpace and Ftype my wife just wanted to update the facelifted Fpace model. and I wanted her to get her a new car for herself and trade in her mini and everything was as clear as I have said it here and talking to greenway via text they said they can't wait for my review so they and comment so here is in greenway with screenshots and photos proving everything I said More
