I purchased at least three BMWs over the years at Daniel’s and sales / service has always been excellent. Today, I tried to make an appointment for inspection and an oil change, which is part of a new car maintenance program. Despite me stating the inspection is due the end of December, I was told the wait time for a shuttle ride to work is backed up well into mid January! No accommodations were offered since the state inspection is due at the end of December.. So now the two options I have are either wait at the dealership for 2 1/2 hours or have someone pick me up. Both options are very difficult for me with my work schedule. I never had an issue like this in the past and was always able to get through to my regular service agent Ethan. When I told the person I was speaking with that I was disappointed in the way service has declined at Daniel’s, there was no effort made to see what she could do to assist. Certainly no apology, just a simple “goodbye”. By contrast, when my wife’s Lexus needs service, it’s the royal treatment. This includes (if needed) picking up the vehicle at our house and delivering it back when finished. Maybe it’s time for a Lexus! More
