I’m a new customer at Herb Chambers and I’m very impressed with the service. Got an appointment right away and the wait was very comfortable. It’s easy to make an online appointment, and I appreciate the reminder text. I am always greeted promptly and advised of services my car may need along with estimates Honestly, I can get maintenance comple the reminder text. I am always greeted promptly and advised of services my car may need along with estimates Honestly, I can get maintenance completed for cheaper elsewhere. (Quoted $817 for front brakes!) It is a good thing my vehicle is equipped with safety sensors, as the hood was not properly latched after service. Once I reached speed after exiting parking lot, I was alerted to the issue on my dash, and I pulled over safely in a parking lot and was able to press the hood closed. More

The experience both started and ended rocky. First, I was told, via text message, that the car I was looking at was at the dealership and ready to view. I drove 30 minutes and then discovered First, I was told, via text message, that the car I was looking at was at the dealership and ready to view. I drove 30 minutes and then discovered the vehicle was not there and never was. They did a great job of apologizing, found a very similar model at another location to secure. Though, they told me it was brand new, coming off the truck and would be delivered the following day. When I got the call that the vehicle arrived, I went in and this vehicle had 237 miles on it....I am not sure that it was right off the truck. I went through the process, and unfortunately had another snafu when it came to registering my vehicle, as that took them 4 days. I am finally all set, but it was not an easy experience. Love the car and the service guy doing my inspection was wonderful. I don't appreciate the "mistruths" or lack of communication when it came to registering the vehicle. I am not sure I would go back again due to the lack of transparency and communication. More

Service center consistently states their inspection sticker machine is down with no notice to appointment holders. I made an appointment three weeks in advance. You need to let me know that you canno sticker machine is down with no notice to appointment holders. I made an appointment three weeks in advance. You need to let me know that you cannot fulfill the requested service before I come in. This has happened about a dozen times over the years across two vehicles. I suspect the machine isn’t down and it’s related to their staffing. Just be honest and drop the deception. Also, don’t make me feel unreasonable when I now must make an appointment with another service center. No apology or solution offered. I will never step foot in this dealership again. Currently looking for a reputable Toyota dealership for my next purchase after buying my last two cars here. Service is important when choosing a dealership. Your level of communication and misrepresentation of available services is unacceptable and you have lost me as a customer. More
