We are totally disappointed with our recent Prius purchase at Toyota of Lancaster, due to lack of after-sale service. A minor but concerning paint flaw—a pinhead-sized spot missing paint on a body pa purchase at Toyota of Lancaster, due to lack of after-sale service. A minor but concerning paint flaw—a pinhead-sized spot missing paint on a body panel, exposing the undercoat was documented by the dealer and was to be remedied. I accepted the car after being promised a vial of touch-up paint to seal the hole and prevent any moisture-induced paint damage down the road, especially given the freezing climate in our area. Initially, we were told by a manager that the paint wasn’t available. Later, another manager confirmed it was in stock but insisted we pick it up—despite the dealership being 190 miles away. I asked them to please mail it, and after much back-and-forth, they agreed. It's now 3 weeks after our purchase and a round of point-less phone calls, texts, and promises, yet the paint has not arrived. Apparently, when I last checked it hadn't been mailed. When we called again, they said they "don't mail parts." For the cost of an envelope and a couple stamps, they could have kept us as loyal customers. Instead, we feel compelled to share this experience in our review. Sale follow-up is important to us. We're loyal customers when and where we're treated right. We will be buying a 4-Runner by year's end. Penny-wise and pound foolish, Lancaster Toyota lost our business. If you want quality after-sale service after you've signed contacts and parted with your money, based on our experience you won't find that at Toyota of Lancaster. More

Dishonest, unapologetic and no follow through. They didn’t include services in my WARRANTY Service stated they were extra but did them for my husband when he brought the vehicle in. They didn’t do the oil change service correctly and let truck run for a little to let the new filter soak up the oil and then check the oil. So when we got it home it needed an ENTIRE quart of oil….. they've thrown my keys in between the passenger seat and middle console (they could have told me there was too many keys for there liking and I would have given them just the key) I had to go in the office and ask were they were and had to actively look under the seat to find them. They moved my floor board cover and put it in my passenger floor board but made sure to get all the dirt that was on the cover all over my middle console… they park you so close in the pick up parking lot I couldn’t get my son into the car without pulling the car out. Don’t even get me started on the issue with the spare key that took 6 months to be handled after “2 managers” were fired because of dishonest issues and that’s why we never got it handled… also side note the “kids room” is DISGUSTING smells and hasn’t been cleaned in a year at least… I spent $60,000 there and the service is below subpar. I will NEVER buy another Toyota from them and that’s all we drive… when my 2014 Yaris is needing to be retired I will NOT BE BUYING FROM LANCASTER TOYOTA More
