Unbelievably Bad Experience, Borderline Criminal Recently I made an appointment for my oil to be changed in one of our vehicles while our son was home . This Vehicle has had regular service and is ma Recently I made an appointment for my oil to be changed in one of our vehicles while our son was home . This Vehicle has had regular service and is maintained because we allow our son to drive this vehicle. The vehicle is a 2015 with 35,000 miles on it and does not have a single issue. The vehicle was taken in within a few minutes of the appointment time and was completed within an hour. It was driven home and upon pulling in our driveway which is about twenty minutes away it began to smoke. When we got out of the vehicle we noticed oil leaking all over our driveway. We opened the hood and located oil all over the engine block and checked the dipstick which read that it was now empty. There was a path of oil coming down the street and into our driveway. We contacted the dealership and explained the situation and we were informed that the service manager was "out to lunch". I was told he would call me back shortly. I waited over an hour and a half and I called back and they advised that the service manager was busy. I then asked for the general manager and the service manager then picked up the phone. I explained the situation and he advised he would send a tow truck right out and I explained that it was an all wheel drive vehicle. I asked if the vehicle would be done today and they advised yes, that it would be because I needed it the following day. At 530pm I called and was advised that the vehicle was not complete that it had a cracked oil filter housing. The service manager then thinking it was my son on the phone began to say things like "well son we don't know how long this was leaking" or "you probably did something the last time it was changed". He then explained that he needed to order the parts for us and that it would be over 500 to repair our vehicle. When I objected he told me that he would not make us pay for the tow bill. I explained that I was insulted by this and he then offered to pay the tow bill and give us a discount on the repair because we are customers. What I can explain to you is that this vehicle was not damaged or leaking oil in any way prior to the oil being changed and that the mechanic must have over tightened it cracking the oil filter housing. We understand that things break and accidents happen. You should have admitted your mistake and repaired the car. Not accuse a younger driver who you clearly thought you could intimidate with terms like" son " . This is not the way to build trust or keep customers. We will never return and will tell everyone about our experience. It was below a 1 star rating it was borderline criminal. The vehicle was not leaking prior and we are still insulted. They refused to repair the vehicle and ultimately we had to pay for the parts you broke. Feel free to call us to discuss this. More

Tire replaced I arrived in the morning before Service was opened. A nice gentleman filled my tires and told me my back tire needed repair or replacement. I went inside and the staff inside told me to be back at 4:15 to have it fixed or replaced. I needed it replaced. Bythe time that was decided, the serviceman needed to stay 15 minutes later. They also realized I had a break light out and needed two recalls. They did everything for me. I am always so impressed and appreciative of Colonial Hyundai in Downingtown. More

Lose bolt I had the car in for a problem with the steering column. I can understand that the repair took several hours more than estimated. What the real proble I had the car in for a problem with the steering column. I can understand that the repair took several hours more than estimated. What the real problem was, after I drove the car for a day or two the steering column was worse than before I had it repaired. Then a bolt fell out. I did bring the car back and they completed the repair I was told that the mechanic simply forgot to tighten the bolts. Not my best experience with a service center. I had no issues with Donna, as I know she did all she could. The problem lays with the mechanic. More
