I think the guys at Cortese know what happened here and I'm sure they will do everything they can to not repeat, but... several issues and I'll list the experience. 1. Week 1 Car sale was pretty smooth I'm sure they will do everything they can to not repeat, but... several issues and I'll list the experience. 1. Week 1 Car sale was pretty smooth. Dave E. was very straight forward, cool guy to talk to. Wasn't giving me the hard sell. I paid a mark-up for my Bronco, but it wasn't egregious, and Dave kept to his word which is big especially working on an out of state deal. 10/10 upfront. 2. Week 2 Everything after was awful from here on out. Bought the car end of the month over a holiday weekend so I get some delays there, but the absolute minimum effort was put in initially. I'm getting scraps from the Cortese (delays in response, providing me bill of sale via picture in phone text which I obviously can't sign and bank can't do anything with??, screened phone calls) while I'm hustling my xxx off to work with my loan company, set time away from my job, bust xxx to get them what they need, coordinate shipping, even got them paid 2 weeks before I even got the car. All I needed was someone on the other end of the phone to pickup and do their job. And I lost a week upfront just piddling. 3. Week 2.5 Intensity picked up, but everything was mistake ridden. Documents were done wrong, surprises left and right. I'm losing money, paying fees, shifting truck schedule around because Cortese doesn't know what they're doing, not selling my truck (which I lost money on having to hold longer). I was also told I'm going to handle the DMV registration transfers on my end (which is actually a massive deal for me), so I'm paying taxes outside of my loan. Fine. I said fine. But the bank can't process the loan this way. My bank told me to tell Cortese to stop trying to cut corners on this deal and do it right. I was told by Cortese we have to raise a Beacon now blah blah like it's a massive deal.. 15 minutes later its done... Wow. Huge deal I guess huh. 4. Week 3 I'm told now I can't ship my truck again because I have to get certain documents signed. Sure no worries I guess. Pay fee. Shift truck. I follow up on documents after not hearing back for some time. Oh wait. These documents have to be notorized!! Late breaking news. I say send immediately and I will take even more time away from work. Guess what.. docs did not make it out even tho I offered to pay the overnight... Lost a day. I call raise cain. Documents come. I cancel deal with trucking company all together to stop paying fees... Was told wife needs to sign.. I bring her and my toddler to the bank. Oh wait. She doesn't need to sign.. Awesome. Bank informs me that this process was done super wrong and the loan should not have been funded. Wow 5. Week 4. Receive my car finally. 10 more miles on it than what I signed on, but not a big deal. No scratches. Glad its here and very happy with it. As far as lessons learned. I'd recommend to Cortese that you guys document your process to make it mindless. I don't blame David Vito for this. I blame his leadership in a big way. You guys have got to put a process in place for your group to be successful. Takes the unforced errors out of the equation.. Shame on you. To the 2 Daves - You guys took my tongue lashing on the chin. Dave E. the excuses around what happened we're def lame, but the documented process would have freed you from these issues. Also, I made an inquiry about all weather floor mats exchanged with the carpet (same value).. I maybe would have just thrown those in or I don't know, 25$ towards getting the car washed when it got here. I'm sorry we screwed you hard, with you paying a mark-up even!!! but we're not going to make any effort to make it right or do anything small for you. You're lucky enough to have a bronco. Pitiful, man. That's about as crappy as it gets. All and all, I'm never doing remote deals again or at least not at Cortese. More

I purchased the car I leased two and a half years ago in a different state. Cortese made all the difficult things simply and got me a great rate so I could buy my Ecosport. The Sales agent and Manager were a different state. Cortese made all the difficult things simply and got me a great rate so I could buy my Ecosport.
