Follow up questions after the purchase have been answered both timely and pleasantly. Galo was good to work with and the final purchase process was fairly expeditious. He accommodated some unique requests that I had. There was some confusion on my part about which Crossroads dealership that I would pick my truck at (I started the process with a different location). In the end it was all worked out.

I took my car to be serviced for a recall. Later in the day I get a call to say the mechanic started to do the work and then said “there was a stop on it “ it made absolutely no sense no sense. When I got there to get clarity on it , it was STILL not explained in a way that was clear. When I mentioned to the service tech about the reason is was recalled and the emissions he said “it’s a 2014, it’s been ok this far” and then asked if anything else was going on with my car and finally said you’ll have to wait to get another letter. It DID not sound right and I cannot get anyone on the phone with the number on the. Recall letter. But will continue trying. Every recall letter that I’ve had, has been resolved and I’m not happy at all.

When I received a recall notice, I called Dane (my regular service advisor since going back to Smithfield). He pulled up the recall and offered a service where the tech comes right to the house instead of me making a trip to Smithfield. "Is there an extra change?" "No ma'am." He switched me over to Holly who put me on the schedule. She also got a reading for the battery and said she would have tech check that also. Today Peyton came out in the pouring down rain. There was room in the garage for him to stay dry while doing the battery change and computer update, He was excellent. I was appreciative of him explaining the battery status and he also gave me a copy of the reading. Then he did the update required for my Escape. After he finished, he answered our many questions about what all could be done by the mobile tech versus having to bring it to the dealer. We have two Ford products. Peyton was very polite and professional addressing us with ma'am and sir. FIVE STARS PLUS for this young man!! And thanks to Dane for offering this service to us and Holly for scheduling us.

I recently had to have my brand new 2025 F 150 worked on not happy with the situation. Then when I took the truck in everyone was fantastic. I was greeted by the service advisor and told what to expect. I was told I could wait, or they would get me transportation home. I choose to wait. Then both the service manager and even the owner checked in for a follow up to make sure I was being taken care of. When I bought the truck, they said that they would provide service. Today they proved it. Thanks to all.

I have always enjoyed working with Montgomery Motors and James. I’ve been buying my vehicles there since 1990 and from James since 2009. They always meet my expectations. I can call James and tell him exactly what I’m looking for as far as my warranties, GAP and what I want my payments to be and he finds it they do all the paperwork and I come in and sign. No hassles, no issues. They know me and what I want. Best dealership ever. I know big dealerships with multiple locations may claim to give you a better deal but I can’t see how they could do better than what I always get from Montgomery Motors and James.

After Sales service is absolute garbage. I made the mistake of buying some extended warranty packages from the finance manager. I sold traded the car for something else and requested a refund of my extended warranty. 3 months later they still have not started the cancellation process after numerous calls and sending them the necessary paper work multiple times. I went in person today to talk to the finance manager about this. After waiting an hour I decided to leave since he was "busy" as soon as I started my car i look in and who comes around the corner but him. I walk back inside try to speak to him, he lies to me saying everything has been completed on his end (I verified yesterday this is not the case) then tells me he doesn't have time for me he has a "customer". I guess I am not a customer anymore there in University Fords eyes. I have been left with no choice but to file complaints and make sure the public knows what they are getting into stepping through the doors here. PLEASE AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP.
