I traveled almost 2 hours with the intent to purchase a vehicle. One of the cars I was interested in purchasing sold while en route to the dealer. Upon arrival at the dealership, I was first shown a vehicle similar to the one that sold earlier. While examining this vehicle, another customer arrived at the dealership showing interest in the same vehicle. Julie, the salesperson that was assisting us, conversed briefly with Brandon , another salesman, and in front of me, my husband and daughter stated, “since you where here first, you will have first option to purchase this car.” So after driving the first car, we test drove a second car and while we were test driving the second vehicle, Brandon started the purchase process with the other customer after assuring us we would have first option to make the purchase. Upon returning from the test drive of the other vehicle and making our decision while looking over the first vehicle, Julie came out and told us that the car was no longer available. .Curtis and Marlena, sales managers, did nothing to help remedy this situation or intervene on our behalf.
This was a perfect example for my 16 year old daughter to witness why you cannot trust the words of an adult.
The stereotypical lying car salesman!
