It has been a while since I last been to Monroe Nissan, however today I have had an excellent experience with two awesome members of the Service Department, Tammy (I did not catch her last name) and Tracy Williams. I had some concerns about my vehicle, these women took my concerns, documented them, and relayed them to the technician. This team of three including the technician did a great job with keeping me in the loop about my vehicle, understood my concerns, checked out my vehicle, found some stuff, and I am happy with the resolution. I felt welcomed, heard, understood, and not only that, a peeve of mine that they definitely soared...the interior of my vehicle was kept clean in the process!) I absolutely enjoyed my experience at Monroe Nissan. This crew, definitely is a game changer for me, Great Service, Great Attitude, Complete Care, Professionalism, Kindness, and Understanding. I will be returning my business back to Monroe Nissan! To add, These two women have been by far awesome, not only that, all the other members of the service team/sales/customer service were just pleasant and kind! It makes a big difference!

I recently bought a used 2022 Nissan Maxima Platinum ($32K) from Capital Nissan in Wilmington. After buying 7 Nissans, at 3 different dealerships, this was the worst Nissan dealer I have ever dealt with. The car was allegedly serviced, yet the washer fluid was empty, the cabin filter was filthy, and the tire pressure was inconsistent (high in one tire, low in others). Plus, the car was never detailed, and the gas tank was nearly empty (after complaining, they put ½ tank of gas in it). The dealer adds a $200 “nitrogen” tire fill and a $600 “ceramic” job (it already washed off) to every car. The “finance manager” tried to sell us a “Triton Warranty” (whatever that is) but neglected to offer the Nissan Security + plan, which I would have bought. They also wanted an additional $1,000 to make the car “CPO” (certified pre-owned). They were, however, nice enough to put a filthy, corroded license plate frame on the rear of the car (which I promptly removed and discarded, along with their advertising sticker). The bigger problem was all the paperwork was backdated, to the date I made a deposit (not the date I actually purchased the car), and was full of errors. When I questioned this, I was ghosted by the “product specialist” (now “internet manager”), general sales manager”, “finance manager” (now “sales consultant”) and even the “owner loyalty manager” (I’m not sure what her real job might be). They continued to ignore me even as my temporary tag expired. When the tag expired, I was unable to drive my newly purchased car for over a week. It appears they stalled everything so that my cash payment could pay off the lien on the car I just bought! Either that, or they are just totally incompetent. Trust me, if you say anything they don't want to hear, they will ghost you as if you bought your car in the Soviet Union. Avoid this dealership unless you like to be lied to and treated like a complete idiot. There are too many other Nissan dealerships that truly care about their customers. I can only attribute all the “glowing” 5 star reviews to coercion or there are just a lot of uninformed people out there. If it wasn’t for the receptionist at the dealership and the title processor at Capital Auto Group Corporate, I’m sure I’d still be walking! Noah Woods, feel free to comment. Good day to all I am feeling great today and will love to leave this positive feedback from flow Nissan of Fayetteville NC. I am the owner of a 2018 Nissan Titan truck from which I did not purchase from them by the way. I had my transmission go bad and will have a delay when going into reverse after taking it to Flow Nissan for an inspection on the vehicle. They told me that I’ll have to pay $6018 for parts and labor for brand new one after they directed me to Nissan corporate which I intern called and told him the problem that I am having with the Transmission Corporate took about a week and then told me that they would cover 90% of the cost. I am feeling great because today I got the phone call. My bill is $688. Thanks to jenna that works for Flow Nissan and Luis. The mechanic I saved over $5500 And they updated me every step of the way I just want to say thank you all who had a part in fixing my truck and making another customer happy

My experience at Carolina Nissan in Burlington, NC this morning - 12/12/24 I took my ‘24 Nissan Frontier in for its first service. I arrived for my appointment, pulled into the receiving bay, explained who I was and why I was there. A man (Phillip?) greeted me, took my fob, and showed me to the waiting area. The waiting area was clean, bright, and full of things to keep a waiting customer occupied. There was coffee, doughnuts, a BIG TV, and even free video games. As I waited, Phillip text me to say I could contact him with any needs/questions I may have during my service visit. After about an hour, my truck was ready. Oil change, tire rotation, chassis lube, etc. was all it needed. I was pleasantly surprised that the service was free, as it was included under the extended warranty and service plan I bought from Nissan when I purchased my truck back in June. (I purchased from Carolina Nissan) It was a fine experience and I had no trouble at all. I saw none of the negative things people are saying in these reviews.

Back in April we bought a Ram Laramie from Michael Jordan Nissan. Within hours of leaving the lot, the vehicle began having problems, starting with an alignment that pulled extremely hard to one side. After driving it for almost two hours to get home, it was very apparent that the alignment needed corrected. Within the next couple days, the charging pad in the front console began not working. A couple of weeks later, it started raining and we noticed a very large leak in the rear window. At that time we took the vehicle in to Michael Jordan Nissan since this was all within a very short time. The used car manager, Jonathan, was very hard to deal with and almost didn’t seem to want to make it right. Eventually he gave us a loaner and they ended up keeping the Ram for close to two weeks. Supposedly the Ram dealership in Durham fixed all of these issues and said the truck was good to go. We make the trip back up to Durham from Fayetteville to pick the Ram up. (All the while the other vehicle we purchased from them was in the shop for a sensor issue when we had JUST purchased that vehicle just days prior) So we had TWO vehicles that were purchased within a month that were both now in the shop. Both used cars. Jonathan was less than compassionate in this situation. We picked the Ram up and a couple of months later we notice the truck smelling really badly. The back window was still leaking, water pouring in the vehicle just as if the window wasn’t there. We take the Ram to the local dealership only to find out this vehicle has been in an accident that wasn’t reported on the carfax and now there are tens of thousands of dollars that are not covered under warranty and we are expected to pay for it on our own. I contacted Sabrina Hemby, who is literally the most amazing person, who immediately told the manager, Jonathan. The manager assured me that if I brought the vehicle to him right that moment, he would work out a deal and get us in something the same, if not better. He had a 2023 Demo he could get us in with no problem. Needless to say…. Many problems! I rushed up to Durham only for Jonathan to advise me that without another 13k down, there was nothing he could do. Excuse me?!? You had me drive two hours to tell me something you could have told me over the phone? Then I find out that while I’m there, he runs my credit WITHOUT my approval to see what I could be approved for. Jonathan then told me that without the 13k down, I would just be stuck with the Ram that was in an accident without my knowledge. Jonathan was “so bothered” by the fact that I wouldn’t fork out 13k that he had to immediately leave the office not to even return. He sent in a finance manager (who is a very close friend of mine and is one of two reasons we have bought over 8 vehicles from them. Corey Hemby and his wife are the ONLY reason we continue to do business with the dealership) in to just buy our truck back and call it even. I really had no choice at this point. So we’ve paid on a vehicle since April to only drive for three of the four months we’ve had it and now you will pay off my loan but I’m now screwed with no second vehicle. I say all of this to say, BUYER BEWARE! Jonathan is very crooked and will screw anyone over to make a dollar.
