BUYERS BEWARE. I purchased a truck from Capital Ford of Raleigh on August 21, 2024, and over 7 months later, they’ve still failed to provide a title. Capital Ford admitted they were unable to obtain the title, yet no resolution has been provided. Now, they’ve requested I return the truck to their lot so it appears unsold for DMV inspection purposes — instead of taking full responsibility for the issue. This situation has escalated to the point that I’ve filed a complaint with the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office and have had to retain legal counsel. Think twice before buying here.

My truck was towed to the dealership on mother’s day Sunday for a transmission issue. On Monday morning, Jessie in service called me to find out my problem. He said it might be toward the end of the week before a tech. could diagnose the problem which I was ok with. That afternoon he called back and gave me a diagnose on the transmission problem and also stated that my rear brakes needed replacing which I was aware of. They do a complete check over of the vehicle while in service which I was grateful for. I told them to fix the issue with the trans. and also replace the brakes. Jessie said they might need to order the part and it would be later in the week before the truck was ready. Well, Jessie called me Tuesday morning and said the truck was ready and the total bill was actually less than quoted which was a huge relief. Crescent Ford and Jessie in service has earned my respect and business from now on. Highly recommend!!

Sales staff were good, and finance was great; unfortunately, it went downhill from there. They stated that the car (used) was detailed, it was in a kinda half assed way. What was very alarming was that the tire pressure was all out of whack. One was 48.5, and another was 42.8, another was 38.2, another was 35.0, supposed to be 33.5. Beautiful dealer, nice staff, though things were not consistent (sales vs service/support). On the bright side, we had looked at used cars in 6 other dealers. The experience at Franklin Ford was far superior to the others. We would return.
