My dealer Shane LaBounty got exactly what I wanted! I went in it was quick service, he wasn’t pushy and found me exactly what I was looking for. It was my first time getting a car so I had plenty of questions and needed all the help I can get, he helped with everything and made me feel comfortable about my new vehicle. Showed me all the bells and whistles and how to use everything. I will definitely recommend Garvey Kia in Queensbury to anyone I know who wants a new car. Especially the wonder service from Shane!

Sales department is good, the related collision shop is terrible. The first time we were there they told us three days for repairs when we dropped it off. After 5 days I called and gal said "We have your car?'" After a long delay, gal gets back on the phone and says "It will be ready in three days." This vehicle had roof damage from the car carrier - major repair. We picked it up late evening in the dark at their request, noticed the damage the next morning later when we looked down at it. Now we need to have something fixed. During one of the repairs they had to take out the iterior molding, and put it back with a piece cracked off. This vehicle is a 2024 Telluride with very low mileage - and we didn't notice the poor interior workmanship until we had a car full of people and I was in the back seat. Their response to a request to fix it was how do we know you didn't break it, and you took too long to notice it was broken. We also had to have the back gate repaired as the lift gasket kept falling off. Additionally, many recalls. My advice is too look EVERYTHING over with a fine tooth comb. Please note this review is for the Northtown collision center that Northtown Kia sends you to.. The service center is better although not without problem. When we called to schedule a recall- adjustable front seat has the potential to start on fire, the gal on the phone said we had to bring it in to be looked at and if they decided it needed the recall, then we could schedule an appointment. We live a considerable distance away. The service department, upon hearing this said that is insane and took care of everything while we wee there.

On Thursday, 4/15, I had an appt at Kia for 4 new tires. Melissa Miller, Service Advisor, took care of me. Melissa was awesome. She was friendly, professional, and kept me in the loop re the status of my vehicle while I was waiting in the customer sitting area. The service department was very busy when I was there and Melissa kept a cool, professional and great attitude while handling her busy day. While waiting, Melissa informed me that I needed a back up bulb which was taken care of. She also went over the Multi-Point Inspection of my car and advised that other than the bulb, everything looked good. She discussed that my brakes were good although I did mentioned that I use to be a heavy breaker. So Melissa filled me in about how to properly brake upon approaching a stop sign or red light. I have to admit that Melissa is one of the most knowledgeable Service Advisors that I have come in contact with during the many years that I have been coming to Kia for service of my car. She displays such a caring and professional attitude, qualities that I do not see in many service advisors. I also witnessed how she treated 3 other customers who were also waiting in the customer sitting area. One gentleman mentioned to me how considerate Melissa was to him. I look forward to seeing her upon my next service date which will probably be for my Kia's oil change. I purchased a used vehicle from Accurate Auto and Truck Repair and was very impressed with their professional service and unique approach to the selling process. 1. This dealership totally believes in low pressure sales. They allow you to take your time looking at a vehicle without any high pressure sales pitch. In event you would like assistance they are right there ready to address any questions or concerns. I found this to be a relief because in the past, I would visit a dealership on a day they were closed (Sunday) in an effort to avoid the high pressure sales pitch. 2. For the first time ever (and I have owned a lot of cars), the dealer put the vehicle up on the lift and spent more than one hour going through everything with me. I couldn’t believe it especially in this day and age! This alone, set them apart from any other dealer from which I have purchased a vehicle. 3. After you purchase a vehicle, anything that may go wrong within a reasonable amount of time gets fixed at no charge. When you return for routine maintenance in the future or any type of repair, they are honest and straightforward from the get go and employ highly skilled mechanics. 4. They back their work with a guarantee and offer affordable auto repair. 5. As the saying goes, “If it sounds too good to be true...it probably is.” Well this is definitely NOT the case with this dealership. I sincerely they have the best sales and service in the Oneonta NY area bar none.

Unfortunately this is my second time using their services. They are wonderful. They try and make a terrible situation into a better one as much as they can. They are helpful from the law aspect, to rental to loaner and of course their expertise - the car. Yes sometimes they are difficult to reach but it is worth the trade off in the end. I highly recommend them for their expertise as well as their personalities. A+ to Yossi and Zach and your staff.
