We brought our Ford Expedition to the dealer we purchased it from because the key would not release from the ignition. After several hours we were told it there was over $2,000.00 of service needed and we needed to prepay for the parts. My husband then drove to Imperial Ford in Mendon. Within 30 minutes the manager advised that he ran the VIN, we purchased the extended warranty, so this service was covered at 100%. (There was also some other issues that the first dealership advised that was needed and not under warranty.) But Imperial did the legwork to find the warranty we forgot about. They made the appointment and gave us a rental (also covered by the warranty,) since the part would take a few days to come in. They called us to update us during the process and called us once the service was complete (something other dealerships never did.) We will certainly be using Imperial for our service from now on.
