They never offered me an extended warranty on the vehicle when I purchased it, but they lied and told the BBB that they did. They also lied and said I had my vehicle for 3 months when it was only two months before it messed up on me. 0 out of 5 stars for Pye Kia of Dalton.

They found the problem and paid for the lost motor oil during our usage and offered to replace the engine oil and filter free for the next engine oil service interval. Thank you for your service. RJ

his post is based off the purchase that my parents just made from this dealership. I will say that the vehicle appears to be a pretty decent truck but for the price they sold the vehicle to my parents, they really got over on them. The vehicle was sold for a significant amount above the actual value of the vehicle which I under can happen with car buying negotiations. However, them selling the car $4,000 over what they had it advertised online for was absolutely insane. I wish that they had contacted me while they were there because they definitely should have gotten a better deal. Upon actually looking at and driving the truck I still feel that the truck is a decent truck but to sell the truck for the amount that they did they could have had the the decency to make some minor rights to the truck. For instance, the truck was sold with one key fob that only has one functional button. On top of that, the bottoms of the rear seats are missing and after speaking to my parents, I found out that they were unaware that the bottoms of the rear seats were completely missing. Photos of these will be attached to this post. Overall this post will hopefully make other purchasers a little more aware of making purchases at this dealership so they don't get screwed over. Yes it ultimately is the consumer's responsibility to do the research when buying a vehicle but some are not as informed as others and some are not as tech savvy as others. On top of that dealerships know more about vehicles than are advertised or made known. I just pray that others may seek more information when going thru the vehicle vehicle buying process and attempt some form of research to attempt to lessen their chances of being significantly screwed over. I really thought this was a good place to buy from before but please be aware.

And definitely ask about the lifetime warranty on brand new Kias—they’re truly setting their customers up for long-term success. Highly recommend! I recently had the pleasure of working with Greg Moore at Rick Case Kia at Gwinnett Place, and I have to say, he’s hands down the best sales guy I’ve ever dealt with. From the moment we walked in, even though we were just browsing, Greg went above and beyond to assist us. He had just come back from his lunch break and could’ve easily brushed us off, but instead, he made sure to check in and see if we needed help—despite knowing we weren’t buying that day. We explained that we weren’t planning to purchase for another 2-3 weeks because we were waiting on an insurance check, but Greg didn’t bat an eye. He dedicated over an hour of his time, answering all our questions and walking us through the process. Even without a guaranteed sale that day, his focus was entirely on making sure we had all the info we needed. A week later, but still one week until the insurance payout was going to come through, we returned to get all the paperwork finished. Greg made the entire process smooth and easy, even holding the vehicle for us after we put down a very small deposit. There were a couple of minor issues with the car when we brought it home, but Greg took care of them immediately and even filled up the gas tank as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience. This was an overall fantastic experience, and I can honestly say I’ll be returning to Greg for any future vehicle needs. If you’re looking for a sales rep who genuinely cares about his customers and goes the extra mile, Greg Moore at Rick Case Kia is the guy to see. Highly recommend!

Don't' trust what they report to CarFax - Mmay1588

I looked at the reviews and most of the bad ones focus on the service dept. This is another failure in that area. Maybe it is time to replace the people working in that area! Make sure you verify everything they said they reported they did to carfax. My carfax stated Kia Carland did complete inspection on vehicle as well as replaced the engine air filter and the cabin filter. My wife and I loved the used 2015 Sonata we bought from them, after we got home with it I checked the engine and cabin filter and you could tell they were full of dirt and trash. I then took the car to my local Hyundai dealership and found out it had a busted cv axle. My dealership was not sure they would be able to cover it under warranty since it was just the boot that was busted, so it could cost up to $700. I notified Kia Carland and they told me they would only reimburse me what it would cost them to repair. Fortunately, my dealership(Autonation Hyundai of Columbus) was able to get the cv axle replaced under warranty so I no longer have to deal with Kia Carland.
