Our experience couldn't have been worse!! Zeigler is great at taking your money but beyond that not so good! We purchased a 2021 Jeep Rubicon and traded in our 2016 Chevy Camaro in that process wen't fi great at taking your money but beyond that not so good! We purchased a 2021 Jeep Rubicon and traded in our 2016 Chevy Camaro in that process wen't fine! ( Our sales person Mark was great and on top of everything) The problem is with the total lack of communication for aftermarket parts and accessories and the service center. We live almost 3.5 hours away so each trip to the dealership is a day long adventure! Our jeep was promised to be completed with new tires, wheels, lift kit, and other items like undercoating and window went totaling around $15,000 in aftermarket parts and the cost of the Jeep $66,000 for a total of ape $81,000! Trip #1 We drove back to pick up the jeep 7 hours round trip but it was not completed ( Yes we did call to confirm it was done ) After waiting they were not going to be able to complete the Jeep that evening so we had to drive back home. Trip #2 Drove back to pick up the jeep another 7 hours! Drove home to find out they still did not complete the Jeep simple grab bar handles were not installed. Trip #3 We went back to have the grab bars put on! They did not know that would not fit the Jeep! So we left another 7 hours. Trip #4 The rear tire on the tire carrier is rubbing on the rear steel bumper, they recommended purchasing a tire re-locater so we did and went to have it installed ( Another 7 hour drive ) We got to the dealer at 7:30am and did not get out till after 8pm. When we got to the dealership the tire on the back was crooked!! They recomended we purchase a new bumber and some other items totaling around $1,500 to correct the tire. We pulled over to find out the tire in was making some odd noises so we drove back to the dealership, another person looked at the tire and the tire carrier and said we would have to make another appointment to have the service people look at it! ( We found out they do not do the work on the Jeeps in house but send them out to an aftermarket shop) We were driving home another 7 hours but the tire kept making loud noises! We pulled over at a truck stop to find out they did not tighten the tire on the rear tire carrier so it was loose making a loud noise! We were just at the dealer but they refused to look at this and correct it because they said they did not do the work. Someone could have been seriously injured or killed if the tire fell of the Jeep!! Trip #5 Made appointment 3 weeks in advance to have the following completed: 1. Tire Relocation mount and tire corrected it's crooked 2. Refund on 2 sets of grab bar handles 3. Replace a part that fell out of the glove box 4. Touch up the $1200 undercoating they did 5. Reimburse us for gas $265.00 6. Replace the rear camera bracket they broke during the last visit. 7. Remove permanent black marker from decal installed on the hood? We got t the dealership at 7:30am April 21st! Thinking we should be able to get in and out in 3-4 hours!! I did get a loaner car but they do charge you for gas! I stopped back at around 2pm to see if the Jeep was done they told me about an hour! I came back in an hour to find the following! 1. Not done or even starter - they forgot to fix the crooked tire! 2. Did not refund grab bar handles 3. Did not fix the part that fell off the glove box 4. They forgot to touch up the undercoating! 5. Yes!! They did have a check for $265 for gas! Thank you! Mark 6. Yes!! They did replace the rear camera bracket 7. Yes!! Removed the marker on the hood. I approached the service advisor and they did say yes they send the Jeeps to another location to have corrected and (Yes) Many items were not completed! They wanted me to drive the Jeep to the other service center to work with the company who did the work! I paid Zigler Jeep in Schamburg Il!! I did not have time to get to the other location that night. The dealership refused to correct the problem with the rear tire relocation and crooked tire. After 2 more hours at the dealership and a conversation with the manager they had a technician take the rear tire off and correct the problem. The correction took less then an hour and it looks straight as it should be. The service manager told us they could not look at the Jeep because they would have to pay their service tech to do the repair! (( I paid Ziegler Jeep )) not another shop!! The manager did also refund the undercoating as well!! I only wanted it touched up but they did step up and refund the $1,200 for the undercoating. Today April 24th 2021 we set up an appointment to have another dealer in our town touch up the undercoating!! They told us that only half of the undercarriage was even coated with a light coating of the coating so we had the entire undercoating redone! The new dealer showed us how bad they 1st undercoating was! It was so sloppy and much of the undercarriage was not undercoated at all or a light spray! Wow as a customer you would not even thing to look under your new 2021 Jeep Rubicon! In closing: Zeigler Jeep In Schamburg is not a good place to purchase a new or used car or truck! Think twice they have many poor reviews! If pour going to have aftermarket parts installed do some research on pricing we were charged way to much to purchase parts and have them installed. We did have almost $15,000 wort of aftermarket parts installed but at almost 35% higher then other shops! I guess when you purchase a new car or truck you get excited and don't think the dealer is ripping you off!! I had the same items priced later to find the exact same items would have cost just under $9,500!! Thank's Zeigler for making our 2021 Jeep purchase so miserable! We love our Jeep! Never again will I buy from Zeigler Auto Group!! More
