I was told a price with and without a trade-in and sold my car to buy it. I have the prices on paper and on text messages. I confirmed the price before I sold my car and went straight over to the dealershi my car to buy it. I have the prices on paper and on text messages. I confirmed the price before I sold my car and went straight over to the dealership to buy a Palisade. Knowing that I didn't have a car, they tried to extort $600.00 more dollars out of me. I spoke with the manager However, he did not care if I was lied to and had the proof to back it up. I walked out. I will drive my husband's 20 y/o pickup before I would ever do business with this group. Shame on you. Do not trust this dealership! Rey, you know every word of this is true. LESS More
Found a vehicle at a price we were willing to pay at Wiesner on cars.com. Sent a message that we were interested and if it was still available. Kerry from Wiesner reached out and we talked multiple time Wiesner on cars.com. Sent a message that we were interested and if it was still available. Kerry from Wiesner reached out and we talked multiple times about the vehicle and that we would like to come see it. We scheduled a time and made the hour trip. We get there and talk with Kerry about the vehicle and then do a test drive. We like it and tell him we are interested. He says “I haven’t told you yet but we have an $8000-$12000 market adjustment on top of the MSRP depending on what management decides”. Of course we are very irritated and leave. However, My wife really liked the car so I emailed Kerry the next day and asked if they would take $3000 over MSRP as other dealers were doing similar. He emails back and says “they will do $6000 over MSRP plus now a $3000 addendum”. Very deceptive and dishonest. Don’t do business at Wiesner. We bought a vehicle the next night for $0 over MSRP and could not be happier. More
Price on their website is not even close to what you would pay. I absolutely understand adjusted market value, but when I went in to view a car and I was told the price was almost 8K MORE than what was would pay. I absolutely understand adjusted market value, but when I went in to view a car and I was told the price was almost 8K MORE than what was displayed online, that didn’t sit right with me. That didn’t even include dealer fees and TTL. They also severely devalued my car with initial trade-in price. When I questioned the low value I was told that “was currently what is fair” for my car. However, when I said I was going to walk they magically found 4k more value in my car. When I told them I needed to discuss the offer being presented with my spouse, they kept pushing to try and get me to sign but they wouldn’t budge on price when I had been clear on what we felt comfortable spending. As I kept confirming that I needed to consult my spouse, they made the comment “Wow. I’m not getting anywhere with you”. I walked out and called other Hyundai dealerships in the area and received SIGNIFICANTLY better customer service and adjusted market value prices. Perhaps this is a post-pandemic tactic, but 8K over what is being displayed online and low balling trade-ins is a cheap shot. Other dealerships in the area had adjusted market values of just 1K or 2K and were upfront about dealer fees. More
Mrs Annette Harris was extremely rude to me and my wife after we had declined all the extended warranty, her attitude change toward us, treating us like xxxx to put it mildly. after we had declined all the extended warranty, her attitude change toward us, treating us like xxxx to put it mildly. Bait and switch. Looked at a car online and made arrangements to see it. Started the paperwork and was then told that the price was actually $3K more than advertised because of dealer add-ons prote arrangements to see it. Started the paperwork and was then told that the price was actually $3K more than advertised because of dealer add-ons protection programs. Didn't seem to be bothered about the false advertisement and sales idiot said that the fine print accounted for it. Was told they couldn't take them off. In addition, wanted to give me $3K less than I could get for my trade at other wholesalers. You should run away from this dealer as fast as possible. More
Alison Ingles made my experince nice. I highly recommend her and the dealership. She doesn't just sit around, she is highly responsive. I found her refreshing to work with. her and the dealership. She doesn't just sit around, she is highly responsive. I found her refreshing to work with. More
Typical bait and switch dealership shenanigans. Ordered a vehicle on 6/30 a d was told we would pay $3k over msrp. No worries - I really wanted the vehicle. Went through tons of back and forth in my trade in vehicle on 6/30 a d was told we would pay $3k over msrp. No worries - I really wanted the vehicle. Went through tons of back and forth in my trade in. First they had the wrong year model so it was a stupidly low ball offer. Then it was the fact that it was a base model … it was an ULTIMATE with under 2000 miles on it. Still not budging in the trade in value. Then we get an agreement on the total deal. We were told the car has every possible option available, the color I wanted and it would take roughly 30 days. After 4 1/2 hours of waiting we finally go in to talk with the finance guy Jason. Chatty fellow that speed read the entire process and said sign here. We were told it was all preliminary until the new car came in. We called several times to check on the delivery - any day. Came in to look at a lower model that came in just to see what the car was like in real life. They had none available to even test drive at this point - 2 weeks after we signed the papers. Left dealership that first night with nothing but a handshake and hopes of getting the new car soon. Jason said he cannot print the paperwork until they get the VIN for the car. No problem. After 3 weeks we finally get the text that the car is in. I asked what the financing ended up at and got a huge run around. Tons of fast talking and no substance to the answers. Bottom line was we were financing $7000 more than the msrp. Jason said it was because they had a hard time getting us financed. Of course I called the place that financed and was told they only gave the loan officer HALF.our income. Thus the HIGHER interest rate and smoke and mirrors at delivery. I came to the dealership and was met in the raking lot with the keys and a Manila envelope with all our papers inside. Have a nice day. I said I was going to take the car home with me to show my husband and review the papers. 4 miles away We returned the following morning and were told that we made a bad deal and it was our own fault. They would do NOTHING about removing the things Jason added after we left and had signed. He said sales manager was not available nor was the general manager to speak to. Our deal was our deal and we were just sol NEVER would I allow anyone I know buy a vehicle from these folks. Game playing on steroids. Condescending attitude and lies and quick speak to cover their shady practices. We have contacted an attorney and will be filing suit. Mistake number 1 trusting someone who was in the business of lying. We were told we had a deal but they never adjusted the trade in. They gave me $22k and are selling the vehicle for $34k. That’s just wrong. That were in a hurry for me to leave even though they knew I had no chance to review the papers. My husband does not drive - he’s handicapped. So they agreed to let me take it home for him to see. It was 4 miles away. Closer than most people take for test drives. Remember this is the first time I’ve even sat in the model I ordered. Half the add one that the lower model has- this one was without. Little things - cargo cover wheel locks. Tiny stuff we were promised yet never made it onto the vehicle. More
I went in with a chip on my shoulder because I had called twice with no answer and no call back. But Capri quickly took charge and asked me about the issues, gave me great advice, identified the likely prob twice with no answer and no call back. But Capri quickly took charge and asked me about the issues, gave me great advice, identified the likely problem (she was correct) and scheduled my appointment. She had (in my opinion) exceptional knowledge, and showed superb customer service skills, keeping me informed over the two day service period, and remained polite and professional throughout the process. Great employees are hard to find, she is one! And yes, the problem was fixed. More
Very dishonest. He too tried to push a Wiesner protection package on me. When I asked if it could be removed he said negotiations were over. When I shared this with his manager Kerry deleted the email. CY package on me. When I asked if it could be removed he said negotiations were over. When I shared this with his manager Kerry deleted the email. CYA. What a friggin coward and unethical salesman. Rick Frazier personally called me to apologize which I greatly appreciate. Why should the dealership put up with this clown he only runs reputations. He seems to last about three years with dealerships and hides behind his keyboard. Wiesner is good but Smith is awful. More
Price advertised online is not the price you pay. We came up to this dealer because of pricing online and yes, deal to good to be true. We were buying a car for our daughter and were ready to write a came up to this dealer because of pricing online and yes, deal to good to be true. We were buying a car for our daughter and were ready to write a check when we were told we have to pay an additional 2k in windshield and gps package. The message to us was, you pay it or leave........so we left and went to a competitor down the freeway who cared about our business and we wrote a check and will be posting a rave review for the competition and we will gladly tell all of our friends what happened at Wiesner.
