From beginning to end, Mike was knowledgeable, helpful and competent, but I most appreciated Mike giving me the needed space to make my decision in my own time. Hi,I had to wait 2 HOURS for a minor seat belt RECALL, Hi, I had to wait 2 HOURS for a minor seat belt RECALL, to put SEAT BELT PROTECTORS on, to keep my seat belts from getting SLICED APART due to PO Hi, I had to wait 2 HOURS for a minor seat belt RECALL, to put SEAT BELT PROTECTORS on, to keep my seat belts from getting SLICED APART due to POOR ENGINEERING! Having a severe back injury, my mechanic friends told me the repair should take no longer than about an hour... so I SCHEDULED AN APPT! No one EVER came in to let me know the progress of my vehicle...in 2 HOURS! As I was leaving, I was told I needed a NEW BATTERY, as they could not get my vehicle to run, and that they were in the back, JUMP STARTING IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN! I told them it had ANTI-THEFT, and that they left the door open TOO LONG, which TRIGGERED the ANTI-THEFT... which KILLS THE ENGINE FROM STARTING! All they had to do was reset the Anti-Theft with my Remote, that they HAD! I had my Service Attendant climb in, close the door, and turn the key off! With my Remote, I turned the car off, turned it back on, told my Service Attendant to START my car, and it started... NO BEEPING! Why didn't they KNOW that, my car is CLEARLY MARKED... LIMITED, the MOST EXPENSIVE MODEL, where the Anti-Theft is a STOCK option! They have SHOP MANUALS for TROUBLESHOOTING! Why didn't CHECK THEM? Why didn't they come ASK ME, before doing this to my Car, Components and Battery? I also told them I got a BRAND NEW BATTERY costing OVER $400, about 4 months ago... and hoped they did NOT DAMAGE it, or OTHER ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS of my car, by JUMP STARTING it so many times, when it NEVER NEEDED IT AT ALL... to begin with! Even though my 2006 Rav 4... LIMITED, looks like CRAP because of the nasty, PEELING paint job which occurred with 1 year of my purchase, due to the IMPROPERLY APPLIED paint Toyota put on my $29k CASH PURCHASE... I have NOT gotten a RECALL, or OTHERWISE, on it TO DATE, in the 14 years I have been the sole owner of this car! Why? More
