I had a horrible experience, had to take the car back twice because it had a short and the second time I took it was because of an engine noise which they did not want to address saying that it is nothin twice because it had a short and the second time I took it was because of an engine noise which they did not want to address saying that it is nothing when obviously is something no car should be making a ticking noise ! I have a 2022 Taos SEL still under warranty. The check engine light went on this AM. First thing I did was to make sure the fuel cap was on correctly and tight. It was. I took the car in to VW of Downtown Chicago this morning around 7AM. They called me at approx. 4PM to tell me it was the fuel cap not on properly(!). Because this was 'human' error, the warranty will not cover this and I owe them $250! So, they are basically stealing my car for a day and charging me $250 for the privilege. More
