First of all the warranty will be voided on newish (used) cars if you have it serviced anywhere (including by yourself) but places approved by them which is a rip off for multiple reasons. One they charged $ cars if you have it serviced anywhere (including by yourself) but places approved by them which is a rip off for multiple reasons. One they charged $89 for an oil change and an air filter replacement, that is about $65 worth of "labor" for such a simple task. Second they sell resectioned cars, in other words cars that have had more expensive American parts that have been replaced with low quality metric parts. I've been working on cars since I was 13 (23 today) and I have never sen such a "family" oriented care dealership rip people off so badly. The only reason they are really successful is becasue they feed off the parents at St.V and the like because they have money. I do not suggest you buy a car from here if money isn't something easily spent, go to a local lot with more honest people. More
We had a great experience at VanDevere Kia. The sales and service delivered by Kyle Jones and Mike Robinson was exceptional. Both Kyle and Mike were very knowledgeable and helpful with explaining the features of the 2012 Kia Optima. The Optima we wanted was not initially at the dealership. However, Kyle assured us he could get one. Kyle was patient, kept us informed, and about a week later a shipment with the Kia Optima we wanted arrived at the dealership. We spent a fun couple of hours on Saturday getting through the paperwork, trading in our car, and getting into our 2012 Optima. Everyone was helpful and informative, everyone was very professional, everyone was engaged in providing high level service. We have leased three other vehicles over the past 10 years. The experience we had at VanDeVere was one of the best! We will be recommending Kyle Jones, Mike Robinson and the VanDeVere dealership to everyone we know who is looking for a new or used vehicle. The vehicle I purchased from VanDeVere of Kia was a 2012 Kia Forte Koup. I first found my vehicle on a new car line-up website. I received a call from VanDevere early the next day, offering an opportunity to come in for an appointment. At first I was nervous and worried about my credit and how much of a down payment I would need. Bryon Miller was helpful and understanding of my finances and made his best effort to get me a deal for the vehicle, that I could afford, that same day. He answered all my questions that I asked, and didn't pressure or rush me. I was afforded time and the opportunity to negotiation to make my decision. After my experience at VanDevere I would recommend both the dealership and Bryon Miller for sales. I purchased my first brand new vehicle, unused, at VanDevere of Kia, at an affordable price and I couldn't be happier with my decision. More
The service we received from making the phone call for an appointment to driving out of the lot with my new Kia Soul was the best!! Lisa was so friendly (suggested a restaurant when we said we would like to get some breakfast) to being so kind when she had to break the news to us about my Sorento. It was great that we actually got to see what the problems were with the Sorento instead of just being told. At that point we said we needed to think about trading. Lisa asked us if we new what we would want to look at and we said not really. We just would like to see what is out there. She then asked if we would like someone to show us around and we said that would be great. She introduced us to Jeff Ross. I was immediately impressed as he took the time to get to know my husband and me before asking anything about a car. He was not pushy, cocky or cold like most of all the past sales people we have dealt with. He was truly interested in what WE wanted and what WE were wanting to do. My husband and I were so impressed by him. He took us out and let us check out various vehicles and then asked us what we wanted from this vehicle. I told him I truly loved my Sorento but I would like to get something economical due to gas prices. I said I would kinda like to check out the Soul. Jeff took us over to the Soul and we checked it out and then took it for a test drive. We returned and started the buying process. My husband is a hard person to sell to as he knows what he wants and the price he will pay and the amount he will get for his trade. Jeff and him discussed and when I saw my husband smile I knew it was a done deal. We the went to Rocky for the financing and it went so smooth I was kinda nervous. I would strongly suggest to anyone looking for a dealer you can feel comfortable and trust go to this one. More
My fathers last new car was an early 1950's Ford. We decided on the KIA Sedona and checked prices online, telephone, and on the car lots. No one in NW pa. Eastern Ohio or Western NY. could match or beat decided on the KIA Sedona and checked prices online, telephone, and on the car lots. No one in NW pa. Eastern Ohio or Western NY. could match or beat VanDevere KIA. My Mother wanted it in white and they had at least two, to choose from. Rob and Jim made my fathers first new car in 60yrs. a very enjoyable event. Thanks guys, p.s. the Akron Family restaurant was great. More

Visiting this dealer from the Youngstown area was definitely worth the hour's drive. I inquired about a car I was interested in online with several dealers between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. They were the only ones that responded PERSONALLY with a phone call to set up an appointment and to answer a few questions I had. Absolutely no xx from Ron. I had a pretty good idea what I wanted and that's EXACTLY what he showed me- no trying to size me up financially to see how much he could take me for, no bait-and-switch, no trying to talk me into something more expensive. He was just as upfront in the office as he was on the lot. Explained everything thoroughly and got a better deal than I had hoped to get. Signing papers in the office with Tina went just as smoothly. Though she did try to sell me a few "extra" things I wasn't interested in, she wasn't overly pushy, and didn't turn evil on me when I declined them. I would definitely suggest to anyone who's ever had a bad experience with Youngstown's local Kia dealer to take a look at VanDevere... The only thing I'm not 100% happy about: I bought a black car in the middle of winter- it's already dirty. More
