We left with an outstanding dealer experience to talk through our plan. After a week of thinking about our color choices and visiting other dealers, we were drawn back to visit Chad at OC Hyundai. What a great dealership with a friendly team that made this purchase an A+. After teaching Automotive Technology for more than 38 years I have had the opportunity to visit many dealerships for student training and personal externships. During our purchase visit this week Chad again made the process of locating the vehicle, pricing, purchase, and delivery simple. There was none of the pressure or “shell game” magic that can be typical. Chad was through and made sure that we had the vehicle we wanted at a great price. My wife and I really enjoyed our straight forward experience at Tustin Hyundai. Mo Barati was our salesman, the one who patiently waited to greet us after browsing the lot for a little without bambar experience at Tustin Hyundai. He took us around to show us vehicles and we ended up purchasing a 2013 Blue Veloster Turbo and we love our new "rocket" as my wife refers to it. From browsing around, to our test drive, all I can say is that this had been the most laid back non stress, non pushing to test drive random of non interest vehicles. Upon deciding which we wanted to drive, basically the vehicle could of sold itself, it was awesome and we had to have it. Upon sale completion, Mo Barati stayed way passed store hours just to make sure we were all on our way and situated with every feature offered within the car such as blue link, navigation, car settings, etc. I found Mo to have great car knowledge, very informative and friendly through the entire process. I will definitely be back in the future. More
THE BEST!!! I just bought a 2013 Veloster Turbo from these guys, and I must say even though it's not their most expensive car, I was treated like gold, from the beginning. The car I was looking for was these guys, and I must say even though it's not their most expensive car, I was treated like gold, from the beginning. The car I was looking for was hard to find, and in short supply(loaded Veloster Turbo in Vitamin C color). I spoke with Phil Doherty, (one of the managers) and he worked tirelessly to locate exactly what I wanted. At one point, he was even willing to trade a car he could have sold at a premium(black on black) with a competitor who was expecting a delivery of exactly what I wanted, just to keep a customer happy. He helped me financing and emailed me different scenarios i.e. longer term more/less money down etc. This car was for my son, and they understood that HIS choice of color, and options etc, must be satisfied. They took him and I for test rides and fully explained the vehicle. Neither he nor the Salesman(Moin and Jesus) ever tried to switch me to something that was "available" or an easy sale. I have purchased new BMWs, Cadillac's, Nissans and Lexus's, but my salesmen, were absolutely the most professional salesmen I have ever encountered. ASK FOR THESE GUYS! Moin called me almost every day to let me know how the search was going and when I could expect to receive the car. Jesus always greeted me by name, with a handshake and a smile whenever I would show up on the lot(which was often). He confirmed that all my paperwork was completed and called me the moment the delivery truck pulled up to the dealership, before the car was even unloaded. Moin even came in on his day off to deliver the car to my son, and made sure we knew how everything worked. The price quoted was the price paid, even though the car was practically "one of a kind". NO GAMES, NO BULLSH*T! These guys are straight shooters and made the entire experience easy and yes, pleasant. The way it should be, but rarely is. Simply put, I trust these guys (which is saying a lot given that I'm a very skeptical attorney) and they would be the only guys I would ever buy a Hyundai from. Period! Last, I read the negative reviews, and frankly, i don't get it. Tustin Hyundai and their entire staff was awesome and couldn't be better. Look, sometimes the car you want isn't available and you have to wait a few days(in my case two weeks). Give these guys a chance to get you the car you want, they will. It will be well worth the wait not to be a part of the usual nonsense that goes on at most dealerships. More
It was time for a new car, our current car is now 14 years old with over 200,000 miles and we are just not sure it is up to the road trips we plan on taking. This is a long review so if you want the short version: If you want a great experience purchasing a car via the internet contact Frank Joubran (fjoubran@ochyundai.com) at Tustin Hyundai. I started doing my research online (be sure to check out edmonds.com) and determined a Hyundai would be a good choice especially since we tend to keep our cars a long time and they have a 10 year warranty. I emailed a few of Hyundai dealers and got a quote from each one, all with similar pricing but the one I got from Frank Joubran at Tustin Hyundai was not only the best price it was the easiest to understand. Unlike some of the others Frank took the time to not only reply but actually write an email listing the purchase price and included options (I already knew what the standard equipment was from Hyundaiusa.com) with the MSRP, other costs and all the discounts listed in a clear and concise manner. For the most part the other quotes were basically a “cut and paste” of all the car details pasted into the email with the quote in there somewhere. This might not seem like much but it was this attention to detail that caught my eye. So Frank and I exchanged a few more emails (he replied even on his days off) as I had some additional questions. When we got the financing squared away he was able gave me an out the door price (additional discount if I financed with Hyundai) and we set up a time to meet and pick up the car. This is the part I dreaded most, meeting face to face, I was expecting there were going to be all sort of hidden fees and charges (you can see why we have a 14 your old car) and basically have to start from scratch. We got to the dealership, met Frank, did the initial paperwork, all was going really well, I was suspicious, things were going too well. We were waiting for the dreaded Insurance and Finance guy, the one who has always tried to sell me all the “extras” like body under-coatings (there is a 7 year warranty on that) and on and on. This has always has been the real nightmare of the whole process as I have always felt I have been held captive when all I want to do drive away in my new car! There was none of that (well just a little, they offer 3 types of extended warranties (one of which we did purchase and not because she (I was wrong, it wasn’t guy) was pushing it on us but because we saw the value in it.) That was it, we signed about half a dozen forms and we were free to go, almost. Frank met us and took us to our new car where went over everything, all the comfort controls, power seats, heater AC etc. all the safety features all the electronics (sure don’t have these in our 14 year old car) he even linked our iPhones to the hands free voice controlled phone interface in the car. The bottom line is we are really happy with the way everything turned out and I highly recommend contacting Frank in internet sales at Tustin Hyundai for your next car purchase. More
I was in the market on buying a new car, which was between a Mazda CX-5 and a Hyundai vehicle. The Sales Representative who approached me was Kevin Rullan and after meeting him we scheduled an appoint between a Mazda CX-5 and a Hyundai vehicle. The Sales Representative who approached me was Kevin Rullan and after meeting him we scheduled an appointment on testing driving the vehicles that would fit my Family's expectations. When we came for the test drive with Kevin he asked what we're looking for in a vehicle, so he could get the proper Hyundai that would be an excellent choice for us. He brought out the 2013 Sonata Limited as his strong suggestion that would fit our needs versus the Mazda CX-5. After we drove both vehicles and compared the vehicle's features we came to a conclusion on which vehicle would be best for my Family and it was the 2013 Sonata Limited. We scheduled another appointment on finalizing the process by doing the worse part of all, which is the paper work. He made it easier for me by filing out the application online before coming in and once we arrived back it was only verifying the documents then signing them. The Customer Service that was provided by Keving Rullan and the process of signing the documents was Amazing. I would like to Thank Kevin Rullan and the Hyundai Team by providing a Perfect Environment plus Excellent Customer Service to me and my Family. Keep it up. More
I did a 100 mile search for my car. I had communicated with about 6 different dealers in SoCal. They were far ranging in their approaches and styles. The old school, high pressure, start with high prices but come way down style is not my favorite. These guys had fair prices to start with and were professional, courteous, and kind. I was traveling while getting the deal done and was texting with Frank late at night and no matter the time of day, he would get right back to me. The best part is after I did the deal, I wasn't covered in slime and felt like I had to take a shower. This is how the experience should be. I live 77 miles away and will gladly drive there again to do business with either Frank or David. Great guys!! More
Tustin Hyundai had the best rate and were willing to negotiate the car price. The salesmen were the most pleasant to deal with. I went to irvine and garden grove but Tustin was better.
