I came from NYC where in those days buying a vehicle was easy. Not so in Tucson. As the years have passed, each car buying experience has been like visiting a bad dentist. This time, I set out to buy a Honda Pilot but Chapman Honda could not produce the vehicle which they claimed they had after my request was placed through the USAA buying service. Since I am a Costco member I decided to look at Subaru through the Costco car buying program. I had researched the Subarus on the Internet and decided that it would be wise to check them out, having previously leased a Subaru in the early 1980s. I was especially interested in the top rated safety features of the latest Subarus. Tucson Subaru had the right vehicle, an Outback, for many thousands of dollars less that a comparable Honda Pilot. The buying experience was perfect with up forward honesty. I like the Outback and recommend Tucson Subaru for anyone looking to make a purchase. More

Buying a car is usually a stressful experience, but at Tucson Subaru there is no pressure. I worked with Bob Wilson, who is friendly, professional and kind. He listened to what I was looking for and followed through on everything I wanted and explained the answers to my questions, and was patient and helpful throughout the entire sale. He was up front with cost and options. He sat in the new car with me at the end, even though it was late, to show me everything I needed to know about my car. Traci was excellent with the finance portion of the sale, and I appreciated her patience and help and clear explanations as well. I'm extremely happy with my choice of car and my choice of dealership and feel confident I have bought a great car. More

Frank Calvillo, service advisor, helped me track down the reason I couldn't see out the back window at night to back up. There was Limo tint on it! and he arranged to remove it at no cost to me. Thanks Frank! what a great job. While I was there, I met Jennifer Duran, sales person, and got to talking to her about my desire to trade for a Toyota. My Outback was a gorgeous car, just too big for me. She offered to keep me posted on Toyota trades that came in, and she did. I first thought I wanted an FJ because the clearance underneath was important to me. She found one, but it turned out to be too big (and too expensive) for me. A day or so later, she told me (by email) that a RAV4 had come in and I could come and test drive it. What a beautiful car and small enough for me to feel comfortable in, but with good clearance. Jennifer worked with the manager, Loren Henry, to get me a price I could feel comfortable with, and TRACI Roberts worked it out so I would have essentially the same payment I had before. At the end, after taking the Toyota to my mechanic, it was discovered that the shocks needed replacing, and the manager, Loren Henry, offered to pay part of that cost, So really, how cool is that? Overall, and in the details, these folks went to the limit to make me happy. And I really am! Jennifer was great, personable and friendly, which made the whole process work smoothly. Really, everyone I dealt with at Subaru was top notch. I would certainly recommend them to anyone. More

After researching online, I decided to check out the small SUVs. After visiting four dealerships, I returned to Tucson Subaru and Gil Warren. Mr. Warren made the process of purchasing my new Subaru Forester, easy, with his knowledge, experience and openness. The dealership had sold out of 2014 models, so we ended up with a 2015. My chosen vehicle color became a problem, but eventually we were able to find one on the lot that met our requirements. The process of purchasing and completing the financial paperwork was done very quickly and professionally by another staff member. After purchasing the vehicle, Gil Warren has continued his contact with me. Thank you Gil Warren and Tucson Subaru Staff for making purchasing a vehicle a great experience. More

Excellent buying experience I had done some research on Subaru Outbacks and knew what options I wanted when I arrived at Tucson Subaru. He found a couple of cars on the lot that were close to providing what I wanted. I drove them and liked them, but I still wanted more options. Steve searched the inventory of vehicles that were in transit and found one that met my requirements. He quoted me a price that was less than the MSRP, and it seemed reasonable. When I returned to the dealership several days later the vehicle had arrived and was ready for me. Steve spent considerable time explaining how the various features worked and how to use them. He was thorough, open to questions and was never condescending. My experience with Louie Ascencio regarding financing was similarly productive. Louie also was open to questions about financing and was very pleasant to deal with. More
