He said Subarus are the best cars to work on but he never has to work on them because nothing ever goes wrong. Unfortunately, there was no dealership near my home in the Gila wilderness. A friend had recently researched all the dealerships in New Mexico, Texas and Arizona and said that Tucson Subaru is the ONLY place to go. A cold call about a new Subaru Forester connected me to Spence Bilbo, who is knowledgeable and diligent. He was never high pressure but always attentive to details. He helped identify the perfect Forester. Realizing that this may well the last vehicle I purchase, I had to get it right and Spence was the perfect guide. We navigated some of the options and features via e-mail and others by phone ... everything from clearance to colors. When I made the trek to Tucson to test drive a Forester, Spence patiently took me through all the features and the test drive. He ordered exactly what I want and the Forester arrived in one month. The paperwork was speedy. My friend is right. Tucson Subaru is the only place to go. More
