My wife and I bought a new Subaru Outback today! I first contacted Tucson Subaru through the internet/text on a Sunday. Within minutes Kevin Gribble responded, and we held court for much of the day. Lots of questions answered to get the ball rolling. My neighbor highly recommends Gil Warren who met us the next morning at the dealership. We hunted colors, nailed one down, and began the process. Did a test drive, and had the normal Q&A. It seemed that Gill was a bit distracted or not fully engaged in our interaction. There were many interruptions, where he left the office. No big problem as we did not set up anything the day before and had allotted the time. This is not a process to rush through. I had emailed him early that AM that we would like to work with him. The Starlink system is not only complex, but the variations of options and cost is confusing. Gill seemed, by our observation to be a bit frustrated by our lack of tech savvy knowledge regarding this sophisticated aspect of the car. He showed us the video and that helped. He seemed a bit frustrated with my wife's questioning of this system, the packages, and costs, as well as a few other options. We don't buy cars every year, so we go into this with great deliberation. The normal back and forth ensued, and eventually we left happy with a new Outback. There was no pressure. There was some negotiation, that seemed to work favorably for us. Tracy Roberts knows her stuff. She deals with financing and the promotion of aftermarket products like extended warrantee, and extended service contracts. She does not get flustered, has a sense of humor, knows the content very well, so it is delivered with confidence but not with arrogance. She seemed to understand the overwhelming amount of content she delivered to us and was patient with our slow pace. More

In the past, my interactions with car dealers have been characterized by condescension and a flippant, take-it-or-leave-it attitude. It's refreshing to be listened to seriously and to have a knowledgeable professional go out of his way to provide answers to my questions. It really felt like a cooperative effort, not an adversarial struggle. The sales representative with whom I worked, Steve Norris, was calm, friendly and informative. He allowed me time to think about what would be best for me in terms of options, features and warranties. He explained all the physical features of the car I had in mind and gave me an introductory orientation to the instrument panel. He was especially patient while I conferred with my husband, who was in another state. He accomplished all the work necessary to completing the sale in a friendly, low key manner. I can describe his handling of the transaction as exceptional - professional and highly competent without being heavy handed. Robert Pedroza is a product of the product- having owned a dozen Subaru’s - and his sales method is more like ‘sharing’ than selling. He is knowledgeable, personable and accommodating. Robert goes above and beyond to make a customer feel special and welcome into the Subaru Family. This is my first Subaru, and I know it won’t be my last. Kudos to Tucson Subaru for an all around terrific staff! Speaking of staff- Jennifer Duran in the finance department is amazing. She has a professional demeanor, clear explanations, & an easy, friendly approach. Our time together was efficient and I was left with the knowledge that I can call anytime with questions. Great I found the car on craigslist a few weeks before I purchased it. I came in by myself to look at it to see if it was worth showing my father, seeing as I found the car on craigslist a few weeks before I purchased it. I came in by myself to look at it to see if it was worth showing my father, seeing as how he is the one to decide if a vehicle is worth purchasing. I talked to Mike, he told me a little about the car, started it, showed me inside, and he printed out the carfax for me to take home and put me on email list that would notify me if the price dropped. He wasn't too pushy about me buying the car, which was nice. I came in a week later to test drive it with my father and he helped us through that process, and we did end up purchasing the car. The service was very, and we only spent 3 hours at the dealership from the time we parked to the time I was driving away in the new car. It is to my knowledge that it usually takes longer to buy a car, my father has told me stories about how he has spent 5-7 hours at dealerships before. Overall, if I need a new car, I would check this dealer out first. More
