**Disappointing Experience - Toyota of Scranton/ARR Investments LLC** I purchased a vehicle from Toyota of Scranton on 07/16/2024 but was not given a copy of my retail purchase agreement until 08/03 Investments LLC** I purchased a vehicle from Toyota of Scranton on 07/16/2024 but was not given a copy of my retail purchase agreement until 08/03/2024. Initially, I only received the MV-1 form, which is apparently insufficient for verifying the complete transaction details. The dealership offered a vehicle service contract for $3,899 plus tax. After purchase, I discovered the same contract was available for $1,795 at another dealership. When I asked Toyota of Scranton to match this price, they refused, inaccurately claiming they couldn't purchase the warranty for that amount. I ended up buying the contract from the other dealership and was supposed to receive a refund from Toyota. I then noticed discrepancies in the total purchase price when reviewing my documents. We paid $43,359, but the paperwork suggested an out-the-door price of $43,029.24, a difference of $329.76. Upon inquiry, Toyota of Scranton acknowledged a minor overcharge of $43 but did not address the full discrepancy. I'm still unclear on the final price nor has the dealer clarified. Additionally, Toyota of Scranton refused to refund the 6% sales tax on the canceled service contract, incorrectly advising me to appeal to the Department of Revenue. The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue confirmed that the dealership is responsible for issuing the refund. Overall, my experience with Toyota of Scranton/ARR Investments LLC has been frustrating and disappointing, marked by unclear communication, overcharges, and refusal to correct errors. Bought a truck, had a contract & wired funds for full payment! Two Days later Toyota of Scranton sold truck to another buyer with financing, thus they make more money! Toyota of Scranton will break a co payment! Two Days later Toyota of Scranton sold truck to another buyer with financing, thus they make more money! Toyota of Scranton will break a contract agreement and sell to a different buyer if it benefits them. They are a large dealer and can do what they want. I was shocked no apologies just rude treatment. Be advised Toyota of Scranton has no honor, a purchase contract does not mean anything with this dealer. More
