BUYER BEWARE..... I was told that I was definitely purchasing a "Toyota Certified" vehicle. Many times in the course of conversation while buying my vehicle I repeatedly ask and said how important it purchasing a "Toyota Certified" vehicle. Many times in the course of conversation while buying my vehicle I repeatedly ask and said how important it was that it is "Toyota certified" ( and THIS HOW THEY DID IT.... IT WAS NOT "TOYOTA CERTIFIED"..... THEY TOLD ME AFTER THE SALE IT WAS "TOYOTA OF PORTLAND CERTIFIED") Which is a 77 point check from "Portland of Toyota" certification, you get a couple oil changes.....of which they use the identical emblem that you see with a "Toyota certified vehicle"... But with a real "TOYOTA CERTIFIED VEHICLE" you get 7yrs 100,000 miles and a 144 point check. So when I needed to take It in for an issue it was, it was pointed out to me by another Toyota dealership that infact it was not certified. And begin an arduous back and forth emailing, calling, etc. To CERTIFY my vehicle....short story ....yes I called Toyota Headquarters and I showed them the paperwork and shared my story but by then the only thing..they could pressure them to do is purchase an after market insurance for 1yr. I should have had my Toyota Certification 7yr 100,000 mile warranty that I have always received. And not my first Toyota. We are loyal and always have bought Toyota Certified Vehicles. Just thought .....BUYER BEWARE....OF "TOYOTA OF PORTLAND " More
Awful experience! I worked with salesperson Abraham A. and a finance manager the day of my vehicle purchase. I took a seat in the finance office and there was garbage o I worked with salesperson Abraham A. and a finance manager the day of my vehicle purchase. I took a seat in the finance office and there was garbage on the floor and a spilled energy drink can on the desk. The finance manager asked about my experience and threw Abraham under the bus. He mentioned that my salesperson failed to order the correct vehicle with his last customer and they were very angry. I knew the salesperson was very incompetent, but to have the finance manager say that was very unprofessional. It was one thing after another. Abraham almost had finance run the numbers for the WRONG vehicle. They also sent me home with an empty tank of gas and did not install my security system that I purchased. I had to call Abraham to ask for a full tank of gas and scheduled a service appointment when he stated that it would take 5 mins to install. I was very patient and understanding in the beginning, but Abraham is a liar. I had to jump through hoops to finally get my full tank of gas. It is standard to get your car washed and a full tank of gas after purchasing a vehicle (used or not). After a month of purchasing this vehicle, I received a letter from Toyota Financial Services stating that my vehicle was not qualified for Toyota Care. I called and spoke with customer service to get additional information. They informed me that the finance person filled out the loan paperwork incorrectly and that the $895 purchase agreement was just sitting in my account. They requested that I called the dealership in order to move forward. I called Toyota of Portland and requested to speak with a finance manager, so they can hopefully remedy the situation. I was transferred to Arturo R. and he stated "everything is good". I asked him for more clarification because I've had such a terrible experience with this dealership. Everything is not good! You are JUST NOW correcting your mistake but he made it seem like it was already in process. I will be waiting for correspondence from Toyota Financial Services. There is no integrity with this dealership. I do not trust or will not refer anyone to this dealership. Toyota of Portland needs to invest on training current or new employees. They have a $20k touchscreen that they use to finalize the financial paperwork. Toyota of Portland has the resources, so there are no excuses for not affording better training. More
Terrible experience @ Toyota of Portland When we bought the Grand Cherokee on Saturday, they were all so friendly and helpful. I told Stephen, if something is wrong and we want to bring it ba When we bought the Grand Cherokee on Saturday, they were all so friendly and helpful. I told Stephen, if something is wrong and we want to bring it back, we will bring it back tomorrow. So Stephen says ... you have 5 days or 250 miles, to bring it back. Big mistake on our part by not test driving it enough before taking it home. I did all the driving on Saturday. Sunday, it is discovered, my wife has a very difficult time just getting up into the drivers seat. Then, the Cherokee is really to big for her to drive safely. So it becomes a safety issue. So, going on what the salesman and the salesman manager assured us on .... 250 miles or 5days, we decided to take it back and buy one of their used cars. I figured, the $26,000 we paid for the Cherokee would just go over to the used car, and Another $2,000 because the used car was $2,000 more than the Cherokee. WE ONLY HAD THE CHEROKEE for 22 HOURS!! Toyota of Portland Wanted to Cheat Us Out of $2,000,!! The salesman, Stephen Ruiz denied that he told us that! He lied to them to save his job! By the time we got out of this terrible dealership, I got them down to only cheating us out of $500. I am filing a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency and the BBB and the FTA. More

I’ve been a Toyota enthusiast for 15 years and he knew more about the truck than I did; that’s impressive. They didn’t have the truck on the lot but Errol went above and beyond to deliver the vehicle of my dreams. xxxxxxto Toyota of Portland and I highly recommend Errol for your Toyota consulting needs. I am extremely happy with my purchase. More
Great dealership. Ready to help no matter the situation. I was in and out in 3 hours. In love with the car. The manager and sales rep were transparent with no back and forth. Man, from beginning to end i had the best help finding the right car for me. Instead of trying to up sell me or put me in something completely different than i wanted, Nick, Court and Dea all worked with the right car for me. Instead of trying to up sell me or put me in something completely different than i wanted, Nick, Court and Dea all worked with me to not only find my perfect fit (2020 Tacoma) but they got me financed and out the door without any hiccups on their end. 10/10 would suggest coming here to purchase a vehicle! Terrible experience. Salesperson gave incorrect information on vehicle. Made a deposit anyway and an appointment to come back to buy. Dealership was closed at the time of the appointment. After wai information on vehicle. Made a deposit anyway and an appointment to come back to buy. Dealership was closed at the time of the appointment. After waiting until they opened, none of the paperwork was ready even though there was an agreed upon price and deposit. Waited 2 hours until finally was able to talk to finance and buy the car. Signed all the papers and was told they didn't have the keys to the car I just bought. They would have to deliver it tomorrow. I asked for a loaner car because I was expecting to drive home in the new car. They put me in a disgusting rav4 that was running on empty. Stains everywhere, seatbelt was soaking wet and had mold. Steering wheel was sticky. There was trash and dirt all over the interior. Half empty water bottle in the back seat. Half eaten potato in the passenger's footwell. At this point I just wanted to get home so I drove it back anyway. More
Great sales team - took slightly too long Our salesman, Alejandro, was excellent and listened to what we wanted. He did a great job giving us honest feedback and seemed to genuinely care about Our salesman, Alejandro, was excellent and listened to what we wanted. He did a great job giving us honest feedback and seemed to genuinely care about our experience. One star deduction because it took slightly too long to go from the sales process to the buying process. Not a dealbreaker, but would have loved to shave 45 minutes off of our visit. More
