My new car was purchased with full cash paid. My trade in still needs to be resolved. They are taking forever to settle the deal and pay me for my trade in. They keep digging for fees that I am supposed in still needs to be resolved. They are taking forever to settle the deal and pay me for my trade in. They keep digging for fees that I am supposed to be responsible for on the trade in vehicle. They will not release any payment for the trade in (even though the trade in is already gone). In all my life of car deals this is the worst experience I have ever experienced....and....NO, they are still picking away at my trade in offer for any expense they can come up with to take away from the payment they owe me. I strongly do not advise to use this dealer. More
My experience with this dealership has been a complete and total nightmare! These guys sold me a Certified Used 2013 Toyota Rav4 a few years ago. They sold me a lemon. When I brought it in, noticing that it was burning oil, and it took them 5 visits before the maintenance staff could find a problem. Yes, that's right. They kept saying it was fine...Then, I finally got a diagnosis... There were mechanical issues that they did not disclose and now I must have my entire engine replaced due to their dishonesty and negligence. After quoting me at almost 13K for a new engine, they told me that the tires needed to be replaced and that I should not drive them off the lot. I later took the car to Les Schwab and they found 9 nails in them! The tires are just fine. They used the tires as a way to try manipulate me, and the sticker price of the New Engine, into trading my car in and buying another Certified Toyota from them. I will never go back to this pathetic excuse for a quality dealership. They are crooks. More
I was emailing and texting, back and forth, all day about a specific 2021 4Runner. The salesman sent a spec sheet with a listed sale price. I set an appointment for when I got off work. I drove an hour to the dealer, only to find out they wanted to mark it up $4k. Had I known they wanted to mark it up I wouldn’t have perused the vehicle and instead gone to another dealer. The deceptive and greedy tactics and attempts to bully people into paying for things they don’t need, know about or want, isn’t anything I want to associate with. I would have thought someone coming in with a cash deposit and financing already setup would be a “gimme” sale for any salesman, guess not. More
Martha was unprofessional, rude and unhelpful. Unless you are willing to go in & get pressured she can care less about you or being ethical. Absolute waste of time. They were unable to help us buy our lease end. They threw away a USAA check and shotgunned our credit with multiple credit unions. Just a filthy dirty experience all around. We will not be servicing our vehicle there moving forward. More
Calls to schedule service appointments failed on two attempts, when routed from 'concierge' to service department. The customer service for the service sept. Is absolutely horrible. Called trying to get service based on my extended warranty I bought through them and they won’t return my phone call even after 6 messages horrible. It’s been a week now and not a peep from them and nobody will take any accountability or help. I understand we are all dealing with COVID but this is ridiculous and terrible service. If I could, I would leave 0 stars. More

Commitment to excellence I owned a Prius for eight years and the engine giiven out at 159,000 miles. I had enjoyed the car so I went to look for another Toyota. I went to Toyota of Portland and discovered a Camry that I had wanted. I went home to think about purchasing the Camry and decided that it was a better decision to put a new engine ine the Prius than buy a new car. I had been renting a car for a week waiting for the engine be put in the Prius. I contacted Toyota to see if my car was ready and was informed that the engine was donw but in the course of removal my windshield had been cracked.. They offerred me a courtesy vehicle while they replaced the windshield. The cost of the engine was close to $7000. When I went to get the courtesy car, I asked to look at pre owned cars as a way lowering the cost of a newer car.I ended up in front of another new car salesman and I told him about my earlier visit. He came back with an offer of Toyota would pay for the cost replacing the engine in my car and they would give me $5000 for the Prius as well. I purchased the Camry. I was called the following Monday from the service department and was asked who was going to pay for the engine Toyota or myself. I told them it was part of the agreement. I got a cal from Toyota less than twenty minutes later and it was the salesman asking me to bring the car back because there was a miscommunication in regard to the purchase of the vehicle and the payment for the engine that had been placed in the Prius. I talked to Josh Kampmann, the Genewral Manager, about the situation and he said he would get to the bottom of it. To make a long story short, Toyota absorbed the cost of the engine and used it as a lessons learned momen for the stafft. I wanted to thank Toyota of Portland for the integrity they showed in the purchase of my car. I also wanted to thank Josh and the staff for their dedication.. When the time comes again to purchase a new car I will look to Toyota of Portland because I know I will be working with a team that has integrity. . More

The truck is great, however there is one element of the purchase which was not great at all. I wanted to get a different grill for the truck and was sold a replacement grill for $950 by the salesperson. When I went to pick up my truck, the grill was not installed. I was told at the time by the parts manager that the 2020 4Runner I purchased did not have the option to install a different grill. So the salesperson mislead me into adding this feature and associated cost that was never available in the first place. I have been working to get refunded by the dealership and all we are getting is the runaround. Beware working with Toyota of Portland or be very certain that you can get what you pay for before you sign the paperwork! More
